    Question about planting in August (carrots, peas and beets) do we need to also add cover crops to the beds with them? I’m in OH south of columbus.

      Those crops act as their own cover crop. Until you pull them out 🙂

    Also my tomato plant was a late bloomer. I think it’s a smaller tomato but I lost the seed packet. It was doing great and has some fruit but it’s starting to brown. Am I watering too much? Or do you know why it would be doing this?

      There could be a lot of reasons and it’s hard for me to know without seeing it.
      This time of year it’s common for the plants to start to die back. Brown and crunchy leaves also indicate not enough water.
