@@devonandwillo I named my boy Tiggy and his sister KiKi , but when I sold his sister to a very nice home they named her or rather couldn't think of a name and came up with Missy, Sissy ? I think Kiki was cuter. :) They are a love to have.....
One tip that I've been using for training my Corgi puppy with aggression towards other dogs (he's not aggressive but to prevent this from happening) when we're around neighborhood dogs who are fenced (with permission!) we have him sniff and interact with the other dog through the fence and then give the other dog a treat first and then him a treat. This way he knows that just because there is food involved or us giving another dog attention he's still going to be rewarded and isn't getting anything taken away from him
Harrison, my corgi friend, growled sometimes if I pet other dogs while on a walk. They do get jelly. Had the same issue when someone got near his food, worked on that right away and yet never made the connection to petting strange doggos.
Another resource tip for me that works is everytime I pass by my dog or cat whenever they eat I pet them or even give a kudos. The issue I have is if someone brings their dog/cat over, my pets will wanna eat their food too.

You have an Angel my boy is block headed. He runs away from me. Knows his name and is a lovey , just a lovey. However, the sit command even with food he backs away. The collar and Harness are a large issue he shakes and cries. Finally I played with his collar with him and he thinks oh, this is fun , so we have passed that issue. Now for the Harness shaking and crying.... I have and will never hurt my loves I have had many dogs this one is so different in his thinking. The Harness is a happy thing he gets to go for walks, but this guy doesn't recognize this.

I have a corgi who suffers from separation anxiety and I feel guilty every time I leave him alone (just like you said in the video), you advise creating a safe environment so he doesn't suffer so much, the problem is that when we leave toys around the house he destroys and eats them... do you recommend any toys that he can safely destroy?

I would try keep your corgi separate during your actual training time, just because treats will be involved and you don't want to create any conflict or make you dog feel protective over those treats. But the rest of the time they're fine to be together and will help your corgi get used to being around other dogs :)
Side note, what are you feeding her exactly? Looks like kibble with some toppers? Just plain veggies and a blueberry…? Getting a pup soon and was wondering if I should venture beyond just plain kibble at mealtimes.

it's going to take a lot of practice but you basically want to start by rewarding them with a treat every time they look at you when you're outside with the leash...let them walk a little bit and then call them and give them treats every time they come to you. You basically want to make them want to be with you! Not a very in-depth description though sorry lol!
I just got a Corgi puppy about a week ago, he was 14 weeks old, so we're behind on his training (which makes it kind of hard).. But we're currently doing the method of everytime he bites, get his attention (so he knows it's not a game or toy) then give him a chew toy and give him praise when he chews and bites the toy instead of us or the thing we don't want him chewing on. Also giving him treats sometimes when he chews the toy instead (not too much just to keep his calories down since he's actually kind of a lazy corgi..) 😅
@@Aragon3571 We definitely do the giving him a toy to chew when he bites and that helps a little. Our main issue with him is that biting the backs of our ankles when walking or playing outside 😣 Lord my ankles look like I’ve been attacked by a gator 🤣 So looking forward to colder weather and wearing pants! Otherwise he’s amazing 🤩

Omg these things bark like no other, been a Dachshund house for 16 peaceful yrs then spawn of satan shows up and I can’t decide if she’s half cat or half bunny but seeing she likes to sleep on my head at night I’m leaning towards cat-dog. They are definitely a different breed for sure

I took all four of my corgis to a local puppy class. It is a good way to train and have your puppy around other dogs and people.

My corgi potato LOVES her cat brother Merlin, their both playful, corgis are very friendly but it depends on the cat!

another tip for name learning is (especially if you have 2 puppies) say the name and tap/ grab that puppies
