At 8:23 Riven is lvl 13 and 12/2/3 while Yone is lvl 11 1/9/0 and both have equal cs. Yone should not be able to stall Riven 1v1 at this point and he doesn't even have conqueror.

It’s not too bad once you get the muscle memory down. He is especially good though, especially how well he focuses in team fights and 1v5s.

If you don’t mind me asking, what runes do you use for riven and what items? Do you build differently depending on what champion you play against or
Generally you build Goredrinker into Black Cleaver 9/10 games, but if the enemy team has no tanks you can opt for Ghostblade instead of Cleaver, since it just got buffed and it gives you more burst & roaming potential. After that, you’ll want to see if the enemy team has a lot of burst, in which case you can go Sterak’s Gage, or if the enemy team has a lot of AD champions, you can buy Death Dance. If they have healing, buy anti-heal, and Guardian Angel is always a good choice for late game. There aren’t many options for magic resist for fighters, but you can grab a Spirit Visage or Mercury’s Treads if the enemy team has a lot of AP.
As for runes, you’d normally go Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Coup de Grace/Last Stand. If you’re against tanks, go Sorcery, Prescence of Mind, Gathering Storm to scale into late game or if you’re in a rough lane such as Renekton, go Resolve, Shield Bash, Bone Plating (don’t take bone plating if you’re against a champion that can proc it easily and ranged champs, instead go Second Wind).

Btw, you can qss+flash to get out of knockups
Knock Backs* not Knock ups. There's a difference. Lee Sin R is a knock back he can Qss flash it. Malph R is a knock up he can't qss it.

@@Aoi-ow5og knock up or knock back doesnt matter. They both render you "Airborne" where you can regain control by using qss. You cant walk but flash and some other movement abilities do work. You can probably even cast the windslash while airborne after using qss

@@BoxBox They removed it pre season 11. Removed a lot of counterplay to things like Nautilus and Vi ults. I heard they changed it because tenacity was going to affect the duration of knock-ups, but they scrapped that idea anyway. Now we’re left with an item which already had terrible gold efficiency that has been just nerfed to be even worse. Well done Riot.

I thought you can QSS knockups as long as you follow it up with a blink or dash
They removed it pre season 11. They made QSS have even less gold efficiency and removed an option for counter play to knock-ups.

Kalista + Thresh have nice synergy.
Yone + Galio have nice synergy.
Elise has follow up cc and even more dive potential.
Their comp has so many potentioal (balls to the wall) engages, followed by options to get out for safely.

I think merc treads should be the play this game. Because even if u qss thresh hook or Elise stun u are already gonna be chain cc’d by like 3 other ppl. Not to mention they had like 4 knock ups (tenacity reduces knock ups)
