- GALNERYUS released a special album called "UNION GIVES STRENGTH" in 16 June, 2021. On the interview of YOUNG GUITAR 2021 July issue, you can read the interview of SYU, talking about the making of it.

This 27-minute-long video is a demonstratioin and review of 16 and plus pedals, which are mostly used on the recording of the new album. There are also ones built by SYU, who recently has a major interest on making them. Majority of them are distortions and he you can see him talking about the difference among each, even it is very subtle.

PLEASE provide English subtitles…PLEASE!!!!!! Syu has so many English speaking fans, and we’re all eager to learn of all the things he discusses in these types of videos. I’ve been following Syu’s work and watching his many demonstration videos since discovering him over 13 years ago…but have never had a way to learn of the insightful information he is sharing, since the videos are never translated. He’s been my all-time favorite guitarist and biggest influence for so many years now…so, please…PLEASE consider providing English subtitles for Syu’s many dedicated English-speaking fans that watch theses videos…and for all the other countless fans of so many incredible Japanese musicians featured in your videos.
It would be appreciated so much.
Why not spanish subtitles? There's a lot of latin ppl who listen to Galneryus and love Syu as well

音聞いたら思いっきり洋楽の音なのに喋りは思いっきり日本語関西弁でナニコレ。
SYU is amazing. My favorite guitarists from Japan are: Syu, Midori and Miyako from Lovebites, and Yuki from D-Drive!

@@TheCyberMantis Again, I love machiya as well. Wagakki doesn't do guiter shredding but machiya clearly is a talented guitarist. Can't leave out ohmura from kami band also.

自作エフェクター、実は、中身皆同じで、指先で皆、弾き分けていたりして。
全部鼻声に聞こえる。生音だと違うのかな・・・

好みになるが、いい音ではない
ガルネリは３ｒｄアルバムから追ってきて、たくさんコピーもしてきたけど完璧に迷走してる感じがする・・この音が作りたいって感じで機材を扱ってなくて、この機材と他のものでこういう音を作ろうって捕らわれてる感じがする。機材ファーストの考え方になってる。中域は確かに大事だけどそこをピーキングしているからこもって聞こえるのよ 批判ととらえてほしくないですけどね・・・
高域バッサリ、中低域モッコリの路線が進んでますね…。薄い壁の向こうから聞いてるような感覚になります。
近年のガルネリ音源も、他の楽器隊の音質がモダンでクリアなだけに、ギターだけ良くも悪くも浮いているような印象です。
その雰囲気が「熱い」「生々しい」といえば確かにそうではあるのですが…。

正直昔の方がいい音ですよね笑
@@player-ri3jc クライングスタークラシック時代がバンドとしてもsyu自身にしても一番いい音してましたね。風通しがいいって表現が適当かわからないけど、あの頃のケトナーコアブレイドだったかな？アン直➕ケリーキングの半どめワウの音が好きで探しまくったなー

どの曲も終始ワウ半止めサウンドで流石に萎える。
悪い意味で高崎晃と同じ道を歩んでる。
テクニック、メロディ・センスは抜群なだけに、
サウンド・メイキングが下手なのが残念すぎる・・・。
昔からよくYGの企画に出てくるけど、サウンド、プレイスタイルどれも全然良くない。何年も何年も大差なくどんな癒着があるのやら。
