    Smooth as butter is how I would describe the Gold valves movement. Rebuilt 05 zx10r shock. Great stuff if your local tech can help because Race Tech tech support does not exist.

    I did the Race tech schools back in '99 and rebuilt many shocks and forks in the day. A great product that really makes a difference. The best you know is what you know. Try Race Tech and feel the difference...

    Did you ever came to the flow limit of 50mm WP piston one with the low friction piston bush ? I can agree when it comes to replacing plastic pistons or restrictive pistons. It is a nice piston but in many cases the same results can be achieved with OEM parts.

    I got a Showa supension and want to add gold valves and tune to my weight how much you think in it would be in total to do at race tech

    I'm going to do a test stock vs gold valves. I want to see/feel if there Is a positive difference with race tech

      That would epic! Are you going to keep the same shim stack orientation and hurst do stock VS gold valve??

      @@kollinrose You will want a new shim stack. The old stack is made for the cheap valve. It may work but will not be optimal. best of luck.

    gold is more precise in expansion that any other metal. therefore the fit is maximised.

      There is no "real gold" the gold color is because they are made from brass.
