Why are boats always named with 3 Digits digits in their name? This boat is a 41 foot boat, yet they call it a 411. Why don’t they just call it a 41? And it’s not just this boat, it’s like ever boat under 100 feet. For some reason they quit doing that after 100 feet.

This is a 441, which is actually a 47’ LOA boat.
Lots of manufacturers use 2 numbers for the model name. Some use the water line length for the model number, others use LOA.
