There are quite a few Anji’s in Japan, but my impression is that there aren’t all that many in the NA region. But I guess that makes since for the look of the character.
I swear, man. Anji lost everything and gained nothing. How he use to play then compared to how he plays now is just sad. Which is crazy because he didn't have much when he started.

0:25 can anji parry safejumps or was that mistimed
Anji's parry starts from frame 1, unlike other super. It's able to parry safe jump but it doesn't mean your opponent can't just jump and throw you.
iirc safejumps as an option are entirely irrelevant vs parries in this game

I mean any character can be fun. I'm not saying he's not fun. I'm saying he lost a lot mechanically.
Anji lost a couple of things and gained more ways to gorrilla his way into winning.
Anji’s options after each patch have always been a net gain.
He got buffed overall, what are you talking about?
