Velocette Venom 500

My second bike was a Venom, looking at the video i am surprised at how small it is. I rode in all weather including snow, i didn't know you couldn't! It was a great reliable machine. I now ride an FJR 1300 but have fond memories of the Venom.

Vielen Dank, für das gelungene Video.Mein Vater, hatte auch die gleiche Velocette, es war sein Hobby, alte Motorräder wieder herzustellen, wenn die Leute Probleme hatten, dann kamen Sie zu ihm und er hatte immer eine Lösung.Er hatte auch viele Bücher über alte Motorräder. Ich wünsche Ihnen, noch viel Freude mit der Velocette.Hier in der Schweiz hat es nur noch wenige Velocette. Viele Grüsse aus der Schweiz nach England🇬🇧 🇨🇭 😊

Mein Vater war auch beim Verein FAM : das heisst Freunde alter Motorräder, er hatte auch Pokale und Medaillen gewonnen, an diesen Motorrad Treffen.Er liebte die Velocette.Leider ist mein Vater vor 2 Jahren verstorben.Und wir mussten Sie leider Verkaufen.Habe wenigstens noch ein paar schöne Photos von der Velocette .Nochmals Grüsse nach 🇬🇧 aus der 🇨🇭 Alles Gute Ihnen.😊👍👋

A cracking machine I rode a Yamaha 250 in the mid 1970s I worked with an older fella who rode velos in the 50s and 60s and he loved them.

The marque has always interested me. The look, the well-finished "bitsiness" of the Velocettes, and those great fishtail mufflers. Wish I had one.
