One thing i noticed with Astro`s playroom is that Astro is very similar and has the same personality as Anki`s Vector robot

Not saying it's not avoidable however, knowing that people with money have sevral forces that you couldn't do anything about isn't pleasant. Robots are going to advance whether we like it or not. Humans want to progress so seeing something that doesn't completely come off as a threat to out perform humans is nice.

That this is the type of robot that we want to see not a robot that looks like us. Because even though the possibility that it will get out of hand is little, reassuring that tech progression is under control is great.

anki went out of bussiness in april of last year. I was really excited for their future tbh.
Well the company screwed themselves up when pricing their products at ridiculous prices they thought a lot of people were going to spend a lot of money just to get those tiny toys. The only people that bought them are the rich people that have plenty of money to get anything they want , Lou has so much money that he probably could save companies from shutting down by purchasing them.
Unfortunately we live in a very mundane and boring reality where people value practicality more than beauty.
