Tampa Bay Road Trip (Complete Video) - Traveling Robert

- In this video we visit the Tampa Bay area. We begin with Madeira Beach. We are staying at the St. Petersburg/Madeira Beach KOA. We also visit Tarpon Springs, Wall Springs Park, Dunedin, and Clearwater. After a few days we move to the Florida State Fairgrounds, in order to attend the Florida RV Supershow, and while we are at it we explore the historic city of Tampa.
We are a couple of aspiring nomads traveling throughout Florida and the rest of the USA aboard a Winnebago Micro Minnie 1706FB travel trailer. Join our travels as we take you with us along our journey.

Omg...it made me so nostalgic. I lived in Tampa for 2 years. Used to go to the Columbia restaurant all the time - at the St. Pete Pier. That sangria is the best. I live that area and miss it a lot.

Great Video, I was born and raised in Ybor, even went to school there, Its sad to look at it these days, in the 60's it was the place for all to gather, Both sets of my grandparents rolled cigars for a living in Ybor, until the "machines" game along and hand rolling was too slow, then Urban Renewal came by bought up houses just to tear them down, and we lost both houses where my grandparents lived. I have the pictures though to keep the memory alive. I still get a warm nostalgic feeling when ever i am in that area.
I am born and raised in the tampa bay area. I grew up going to all of these areas. They all have stories and sentimental values to me. It's so weird binge watching your videos and seeing you go to these places.
I recently found your channel and have been LOVING it! I like to support Florida CZcamsrs, and your content is top notch. And how excited I was to find that you were coming to the Bay area!!! :D I'm a lifelong Tampa resident (and native!) and thought it was great that you came over to Ybor City (my neighborhood!) and saw the sights. Sadly, some of the businesses have closed and the area has struggled a bit, but I am hopeful for a resurgence in the future! Ulele and the Waterworks Park are newer additions. Side note: The Ybor Chickens are protected and have free roam of the area. Right now, in the "quarantine" of 2020, the chickens are loving the reduced traffic and are running wild. I hope our locals treated you well, and I hope that you come back soon!

Robert, I lived in Florida for about 40 yrs but never traveled on the west coast-sure I knew the east coast and up and down the center of the state but not there...this is one of the times when I wish I could kick myself for never going up and down the west coast...thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure..hugs to you and Illy

Amazing the detail you include in your vides, Robert, from Pelican being fed by man a fish, to the pelican chewing the fish, to pelican burping and stretching afterwards!!😂🤣. And the look on your face drinking that beer! Priceless❤️. And yet you know exactly when to stay quiet. Thank you 👍 Actually it was not the same bird that belched😂🤣

First left off the bridge and you have camping at Fort DeSoto Park. The most beautiful park in America.
Great video Robert! The next time you’re in Tampa stop by a beautiful place called Lettuce lake. I was there many years ago and loved it. It’s awesome park that has some swamp, observation tower, gators, and more.

Anybody who likes Dali should make the trip to the Dali Museum in Figueres; it's huge. Even more fun is visiting his and Gala's home in Portlligat.
We will be in Tampa for our first ever snowbird winter from Canada from October 2023 to end of March 2024. If they have an RV show in January, we will come over and check it out for sure and hope to meet you there! So many amazing spots you visited in that area! We are getting excited to come.down already!

Very nostalgic, I grew up in St Pete in the 50s and 60s. Used to fish at John's Pass when there was not allot there. Good place to grow up.

I spent two hours everyday in that water for 5 days. Awesome Beach. We got close to a Pelican and he charged us. Seagulls were crazy there. Lots of memories. Sunset WOW and WOW !

I am new and catching up many your videos...i really like your style. I have been traveling many States and several Countries past 24 yrs and we been to a lot of same places, restaurants, parks, etc... Your videos take me back to sooo many memories and help me reminisce so much. You either do very good research BEFORE going to next place ...or...you are the luckiest man to accidentally keep finding so many good places, restaurants, and parks. Keep up the great work!
Thank you. Glad you like them. I love doing a lot of research beforehand. Sometimes it is recommendations from viewers and friends, and there's also a bit of luck sometimes, I stumble upon places sometimes.
