Hi there new to your Channel I too am a wildlife photographer. I asked my Spirit guides to tell me or show me and point me in the direction I need to go and often I will see something for the very first time. I love to go out and have no agenda and each time I go it's a surprise I always thank the birds and the animals for their sighting.

Earlier in this vlog a Willow Warbler was singing actually (at 08.35, very loud and clear). But can be difficult with al these singing birds togheter. A local patch like this is great. Not to many people it seems and lots of birds.

Yes there were certainly lots of other birds calling at the time, so it wasn't until I saw the bird that I could relate it to the call! It really is a lovely area and waiting long enough can certainly bring you lots of activity 😊

I have just upgrade my camera to a D500 and also got the Sigma 150-600 contemporary especially to get into wildlife photography.
So I will definitely be watching your videos for any tips on using this lens.
It's nice to see your cheerful enthusiasm in what you are doing which is good inspiration for me to crack on and try to get good images like you are.

I like this diary form of content a lot. Interspercing your thoughts with information about what you've seen and/or heard, and then showing us some images is different and refreshing. This will only get better as time goes on. We'll done Lydia!

Another great video. Question for Q&A what camera settings do you use for handheld photography with such a long lens.

I live just down the road at Langtoft and I never plan a visit just think I'm going out and turn up with camera and a 120-400 lens, sometimes it's a good day and other days nothing, stay safe...

What got you in to wildlife photography because you are such a young girl

I'm getting on to 30 years old now so I wouldn't say I'm that young anymore 😅 I got interested in general photography towards the end of secondary school, and then while I was doing and art and design course at college back in the 2010s, that's where my interest in wildlife photography began. It's only really in the last four or five years that I became more engaged with it and wanting to share my work online ☺️ I'm glad that you enjoy my videos!

Can I suggest that you don’t name the places you visit. That’s not a criticism at all. Simon Baxter explains his reasoning more eloquently than I ever could. Great content all the same.
