Once I realized it’s just retail spells and abilities for the overwhelmingly vast majority of runes, I knew it’d be a hard pass.
lol ok have fun playing shitty classic era with shit spells and warriors being the only dps in raids I never understand you ppl who say it’s like retail so I’m not going to play it. That is the point of sod to bring all the better spells from diff xpacs to make classic more playable.

P4 probably will fail because they don't get what we want... we want new content... not new skills galore... but ofc, skills are easy, new content is not.
Skills take 5 minutes to port over, new content actually requires effort and time to make

Ehh not super impressed by runes for p4 just remind me of the private server Project Ascension. Basically they saw the success Project Ascension had and their rune system and said hey let's copy that and make a new raid and call it a day.
Yeah, I have said that when SoD came out but u know, "im an idiot" well there are other players that have tried it and says its funnier😎
I was hoping SoD would be more about new areas/dungeons/storylines/ etcs. Like maybe being able to open the door being Bael'Gar in BRD, or the gate in Tanaris. New abilities are cool and all but I wish there wasn't so much focus on them, and I wish they were actually new instead of so many of them being retail spells. I love things like the mage scroll system and whatever else might be similar. Maybe p4 will have more of the type of content that I'm wishful for.
All of the things you said your hoping for would by design be level 60 content. Hate when people give up before they could even realistically have their expectations met. BRD is a 50-60 dungeon. Makes sense it would be content saved for Phase 4 no? Just like Kharazhan crypts which we know is coming.
@@lazarusfitness3892 Those were just two examples no? Areas/dungeons/storylines could have been put into OTHER places I didn't mention pre 60. Tanaris isn't a level 60 zone either. You kinda missed my point here. And where did I say I was giving up? Legit the last sentence is me being hopeful for stuff in phase 4.

Private servers have more creative freedom than what Blizzard allows their devs to have. Sad they're choking their own game even when they have a chance to let it breathe.

Incursions have killed my morale for anything to do with SoD. Plus with how quickly people gave up on running ST, there's no reason for them to be pushing 20man raids at this point...

i always hated the rogue gun abilities because you might not even have a gun equipped. Would be like giving warriors a spear throw ability without having a spear equipped. and what is that tooltip for fan of knives, "throw both weapons at all targets" how is that even supposed to work. wow was always a bit silly but stuff used to be somewhat logical.
so... you been using throwing knives and axes? it works with bows and crossbows.
Hunter stuff looks so bad compared to other classes.. yikes!

I just hope it’s enough to bring people back, my guild stopped raiding and pugs are impossible to full clear with.

Hard pass. I came to SOD because it was gloriously advertised. Classic with a twist.... sign me up. Classic with new stories and new abilites? Yes please. Don't get me wrong. BFD, gnomer and st were fun. I liked all the new content.... incursions could have been handled better. All it took was locking the quests to dailies and maybe have 1/2 portals active at a time.
