Absolutely the best and only real world practical review of this bag I have found in my research before buying one - It is being delivered in the next few days. I have other Lowepro bags but this provides the best day-bag/camera-bag for my particular needs as a wildlife, surf, and railway photographer shooting Olympus OM System. Thank you Glenn!

Nice explanation. I saw on on sale fits my budget. I will take a second look and perhaps buy it. Thanks for doing this.

Good explanation! Can a Nikon D850 (124mm high) fit inside along with an L-bracket attached (20mm high) = 144mm? In other words, is the inside depth more than 144mm?

Hi, would you recommend it with a medium sized tripod? I have a Rollei rock solid beta II... Is there enough space?

Nice reviews! I was wondering how do you find this backpack against the Photo Sport?

The photo sport is a bit slimmer. great if your are scaling walls or trail running since its a lot lighter.

Hi, what do you think about this bag as compared to Lowepro PhotoSport BP 300 AW II? Can the Lowepro PhotoSport BP 300 AW II stand independently ? Can you share a brief comparison?

So the drone guard case can hold a 2nd battery? I need a different case for my Mavic.

yeah upright next to the controller. What kind of case do you use now?

How good is the shelf system for separating the camera compartment from the storage above it? I've had the LowePro Photo Sport AW for many years and one of my biggest complaints was that the camera compartment was not rigid enough. Anytime I took the camera out, whatever was in the storage compartment would sink to the bottom of the bag. Also, do you have any experience with the MindShift Gear Backlight 26L? I've ordered both bags to compare and select one. The Mindshift seems like it is better quality, but the storage and lack of side access and hydration pocket make me lean to the LowePro. Plus the LP is $50 cheaper and has a $40 MIL rebate right now, so it's hard to justify the Mindshift. Anyway, thanks for the video!

hey! its very sturdy! i have the photosport too and yeah its not that soft. i agree, the photosport's soft bottom isn't ideal for throwing the bag on the ground. however this photo active i have no problem with the bottom. AND the bottom of the bag is very rigid.

Hey mate, that is a nice backpack. I wanted to ask you, if my laptop's height is around 2,4 cm, do you think it would fit in the laptop compartment? thanks for the nice review

Hey I just discovered you today! I wanted to know if the backpack is really waterproof? Because I'll fly to NZ in 2 weeks and it'll be rainy I guess and I don't want my stuff to be soaked in water. Does a laptop with 15'' fit in the backpack? BTW your videos are great, keep on doin them😊

thank you! Do you follow us on here or on Instagram? There are only a few 'waterproof' bags on the market. However this bag does comes with a rain cover that protects the bags from heavy downpours and other nature elements. If you are going to be wading through water or around/on water, Id suggest the Lowepro Dryzone bag.
      Yup, the 15" fits perfectly.
