Do you think since the One Piece has to be from the Void Century it has something to relate to the phrase, One manâs trash is another manâs treasure. Much like how in Orange Town Luffy treasures his Straw Hat but Nami doesnât see why since itâs just a hat with no economic value. A lesson Oda couldâve had planned for his 5-year estimate run.

Not gonna lie, the only reason Doffy lost was because he pissed off a complete psycho with literally no regard for any of the geopolitics of the entire world. A.k.a Luffy.

Kinda funny how his vision of the future secured his defeat in the present. Him killing Corazon sent Law seeking vengeance. His negligence and arrogance in letting the dissatisfied in Dressrosa fester and reach a boiling point as well as giving more allies to help defeat him cost him.

Doflamingo's biggest failure was wanting to let Luffy go at the Paramount War. He even asked if it would be hilarious if Luffy and Ace managed to escape. That really bit him in the ass later.

Technically yes, Luffy did them a huge favor. Doffy had them by the balls with crucial information, he was a warlord who got away with terrorizing his own people, and he was contributing to the army of a yonko.

@@enumaelish9193 Was it not just a moment of temptation for the chance once it occured? I dont recall reading about him ever truly caring about them but he had no goal in mind for the yami yami. He just went with the flow until chance happened but it was not really his end game.
In my headcanon, doflamingo came to marineford with a boat filled with fruits, because he knew people would die, and wanted all the fruits for himself.

@@drxppyice8276 , Ace is the main card of the decks next to The Joker, but yet Doflamgino never went to Fire Fist Ace first whenever he was baby and raising him as his own son to eventually become more than a Pirate King, but become literally God of One Piece, and since Ace died with White Beard Doflamgino himself was defeated by the Revolutionary Army and the Strawhat Pirates.
"Joker; The Heavenly Demon" is more fitting. It sounds better without the connectives.
I know there's a lot of parallels between Crocodile and Doflamingo, but in hindsight Crocodile's plan was ultimately doomed to fail since it depended entirely on Nico Robin and in the end she decided not to cooperate. Meanwhile Doflamingo was on the fast track to success before Luffy came to stop him, so if not for Luffy and the others there probably wouldn't be anything to stand in his way
Doflamginoâs plan would have only succeeded if they killed Law and Luffy whenever they were babies; I donât know much about Law, but Luffy was raised from infancy to 7 years old by Red Haired Shank then 7 to 17 years old by Garp, Ace, Sabo, and the Mountain Bandits, and then he was trained by Silvers Rayleigh for 2 years, so Doflamginoâs âperfect planâ would have only worked out in his favor if he had killed Law and Luffy as infants then gives the Op Op No Mi to the Pirate member thatâs strongest and most loyal towards him after he ate the String String Fruit, and then he would have succeeded in his goal, but since those events would have only ever happened in an alternate timeline of One Piece Doflamginoâs plan just like Crocodileâs plan was doomed to fail from the start.
I'm not too sure about that tbh. For one, despite Luffy's training, Doflamingo actually could've defeated/killed Luffy and Law, but he got too cocky and it cost him the fight (granted Luffy would've won hands down if Gear 4th didn't run out when it did). Second, his plan was to use the Ope Ope no mi's power to gain immortality which would require the user to sacrifice their own life, so it'd be a bit of a waste to use it on his strongest crew mate. Third, as I stated above, Crocodile's circumstances were pretty different from Doflamingo's. In Crocodile's case his plan would've failed even if he did kill Luffy, since he needed Robin's help and she refused to do as he wanted in the end. Meanwhile, Law and the Straw Hats were the only ones that could've stopped Doflamingo's plans, so if he killed them or if they just didn't plan to intervene, then Doflamingo's plan would've gone on without a hitch.
@@Entei9000 , Baby 5 became apart of the Strawhat Grandfleet because Kaido and White Beard are the only Pirates weâve seen in the series so far that hasnât killed their Pirate Crew members if they fuck up on their Pirate Quests; the Strawhats and the Strawhat Grandfleet took out all of Doflamginoâs forces, so the only logical way Doflamginoâs âperfect planâ would have worked in theory is unless he killed Law and Luffy as infants takes the String String Fruit and the Op Op No Mi, and then becoming Xebec 2.0 after heâs done all of those tasks otherwise just like Crocodileâs plan Doflamginoâs plan was doomed to fail from the start.

I'm just saying that Doflamingo wouldn't need to kill them as infants since he actually could've killed them as adults; the only reason he didn't is that his ego got the better of him and he let Luffy use Gear 4th a second time, rather than killing him before he could use it. In that regard Doflamingo had a much better chance of succeeding than Crocodile did

This came at just the right time. We all needed a good spooky reminder of just how dangerous of an opponent, politically and physically, DoFlamingo was prior to defeat on Dress Rosa, and technically still is as long as he is alive. After Luffy leading a successful mass breakout at the world's highest security prison, who is to say that another breakout will never happen again? Not me. I expect DoFlamingo to find some way to break out of his binding shackles and plunge the world into chaos, for funnies if for nothing else; he would do his Western Joker equivalent proud, who happens to be The Joker from DC's Batman universe.
Well the chances are infinitely close to zero now since Magellan has been demoted. Before he liked eating poisoned food, even knowing it gave him diarrhea, to the point where he spent the majority of the day either on the toilet or sleeping off the exhaustion of getting his asshole burned to cinders and he was only able to actually do his job for a couple hours each day and even then he almost stopped the breakout practically singlehandedly. But now since he's not the boss anymore he's not allowed to do that and actually has to work through full shifts
Doffy is such a great villain. He really knew how to make the most of his opportunities and we still feel the effects of his actions 100's of chapters later.
Doffy is my favorite anime villain. There are some problems with the arc, and his character isnât perfect, but man heâs well-written as hell and really pushed every resource he had available to the limit.
Amazing video. I knew Doffy was important, and one of the greatest villains in the series, but hearing someone lay out EXACTLY why that's the case, gives me goosebumps.
HAHAHA yeah good one Liam, Doflamingo somehow escapes impel down maximum prison, somehow rebuilds his pirate crew and then heads off for East blue at random and showdowns with Woop Slap cos "hey that hat matches with my fluffy feathery coat give it here"

Well, for the World Government, it's pretty much still a lose-lose situation XD but shame you didn't expand on his Underworld brokerings. In Wano, we see CP0 try and get Orochi to distribute the weapons they're making and spoilers for anime onlys and those not caught up, for the WG to make this a win-win situation for them, them sending warships to Wano and cleaning up whoever's left in the Raid thus securing Wano for their monopoly on weapons manufacturing.
Wait theyâre sending in a raid fleet is it a buster call or at least similar to it

Send your entire forces to reclaim him, including a pteradon with god-like powers and a mad scientist brachiosaurus? Go yourself because no other force can handle it? What does Kaido do?

Kaido may be an Emperor of the Sea and aiming to be King of the Pirates, but a master tactician he is not.

@Sylvia , itâs shown that Jack only won temporarily against the Minxs because of them not having a Full Moon that night, and them having a Full Moon solos Jack, so sending King, Queen, an army, or Kaido arriving himself would have been the wise decision, but since he didnât now Luffy, Law, and Eustass Kid are at war with Big Mom and Kaido.

@@youngmingo103 , Chopper helps everybody from friend and foes alike as his job as the Strawhat Pirate doctor, so if Kaido wanted to murder Luffy instantly then he shouldnât have sent him to Udon Prison to break out with more prisoners in the world, and if Jack wanted to kill/capture the Mink Tribe without using Awakened Devil Fruit abilities then he should have made a toxic gas from the fish Luffy ate before he met up the Vinsmoke Family in Whole Cake Island because currently the only poison that can kill or injure Luffy is the Red Venom poison from Magellan, and honestly if Reiju and Magellan fought one on one then Reiju would instantly win a fight against Magellan in a fight, so yes Kaido is a beast in combat, but heâs a terrible Sergeant or Commander in military tactics unlike Luffy and Dragon.

The dissolution of the Warlords theoretically just made a few crews way more powerful to, cause if they donât get captured I could see Buggy and his whole crew as well as Mihawk going to Shanks.
Mihawk is the brawns of Buggyâs empire of him putting bounties on Marines heads; Crocodile is the brains of Buggyâs empire, and Buggy is the person that finances their entire operations.
Doffy was, is, and always will be my favorite villain. This video just improved how I feel about him. Really hoping he shows up for the wano war

Well, we don't know yet. Ultimately, yes. But if they fail, then no. Because with Joker gone from the Underworld, the world manufacturer for weapons is gone. We see CP0 negotiating with Orochi in Wano to fill that vacuum left by Doffy. Orochi disagreed. With the raid currently happening and at the end of the raid, whoever wins, the World Government will try and wipe out whoever's left and take over Wano and making Wano the center for weapons manufacturing and with it being under the WG's control will all go to the World Government itself leaving the Underworld high and dry. With the WG seizing control of weapons manufacturing, it's a matter of time before no one can stand a chance against them.

I think the only thing that could have challenged him was a war between countries, which he prevented by taking over Dress Rosa which is participating in the Reverie.
It also reflects in about half of his crew, which explores and uses tactics that make them seem immortal against regular means of dealing with regular or exceptional opponents.

Also, putting everything into perspective, I guess we should be even more grateful to Rosinante, huh? I like that Doffyâs downfall basically HAD to take place in one single day. With all the forces backing him if he called for backup the straw hats wouldâve been screwed. Everything had to come tumbling down immediately and in a way that would blindside Doffy into thinking he had it under control

Okay but how did doflamingo manage to survive for so long with such knowledge considering an entire island got deleted for that
as the underground broker, with several powerful family-like members they couldn't engage or declare war against him just because they respect his intelligence and power not knowing his back-up plans .
it's was easy enough to block all exits of an island of weaklings and do a massacre, but it nearly impossible to do that on people with devilfruits (some mobile ones that allow you move from island to island) communication devices and setra .
I think the admirals will fight the main trio of the straw hats
Zoro vs Fujitora because they both use swords
Sanji vs Kizaru because they usually put their hands in their battles and mainly kick
And Luffy vs Sakasuki because luffy would want revenge
I see Dragon or Sabo more likely to fight Akainu than Luffy because I know for a fact that Luffy is fighting Imu Sama as his end game boss fight in the finale of One Piece.
I'm relatively new to the One Piece world... But I definitely loved your channel! It truly made me think how great the threat that Donflamingo was... He became my favorite villain of the entire anime!
