We also score quite a few other games at our typical thrift store stops like Goodwill and the flea markets. One of my best finds on FB Marketplace so far has been a GameCube with two grey wavebirds, a spice orange controller, and a black controller all in near perfect condition, also had Mario Sunshine, Mario Party 4, and Super Monkey ball 2 all complete and near perfect as well all for only $100
Jennifer Connelly from "Labyrinth" definitely made an impression. Great haul and that is one clean looking Game Genie box!

Rick, watching through this entire series in early December and I’m really enjoying it. I haven’t heard you mention yet that on cartridge based games, always check to make sure the chip contacts on the bottom are not broken! Learned this the hard way at a yard sale, picked up Super Mario 64 for $10! Got it home and went to make sure it worked...RIP...the contacts were broken off the bottom of the chip...

I do this as well ! I got a Ps3 slim, move controllers / camera, and 33 games for $100 last week. Flipped the PS3 and made all my money back. The rest is gravy! I LOVE the hunt!

Wow what an awesome haul of nes! I couldn't agree with you more on Fester's quest. Such a difficult game, the button mashing ( of you don't have a turbo controller) can drive you nuts but it's still great. Ninja Gaiden, I'd have to say that's in my top favorite video game's list for sure. Awesome job with the vid! 👍
I loved Fester's Quest, but couldn't get super far. I played on a black and white TV, so the color coded power up system was a guessing game, and made picking up power ups a crap shoot. So many times I ended up powering down.

There's a guy on CZcams who restores old cartridge based systems. He has a video on how to get rid of yellowing. You basically submerge it in hydrogen peroxide over night in a bin with I think uv lights. The bin is lined with aluminum foil. He time lapses the video and the next day, the yellowing is gone. You may want to try that.

Nice pick up man! I had a huge NES score a few months ago as well , but my games were not as good as yours lol. There were 2 top loaders in the lot though so I was happy.

@@retrorick that was the first and last time I have seen one. I kept one of them for my collection and sold the other one to help recoup the cost. Definitely made some nice profit off that lot. Keep up the great work and stay on the hunt! 😄

The Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers brings back memories of my childhood. I remember renting that game and playing it for hours at night then getting in trouble with my mom in the morning when she realized I never went to bed.

Kiwi Craze is usually known as New Zealand Story. I used to play that game tons on my Amiga as a kid, really fun arcade style platformer with sweet graphics and music.

Kiwi Kraze is better known under it's original name "The New Zealand Story". It's considered to be a really good platformer that started in arcades first.

King of the ring 1993 is the best NES WWF game available it has it s flaws but fun nonetheless. Hardcore wrestling fans and wrestling game collectors will enjoy for sure

Been a long time since I did an OfferUp deal. Last one I did was shady. Got sold a bum PS3. Luckily there were enough games to still make money on the deal. That was a sweet NES score. You know the Chessmaster has never wiped his butt.

The games you found in the Goodwill are "new" games to me, Wii games. Do you ever find rows of Turbo Grafx games on the shelves at Goodwill stores for $4 each? Those are the games I am looking for. Also do you ever find the original NEO GEO games from the 90's at Goodwill Strores? I would buy the NEO GEO games for $4 each if they had them at Goodwill stores.

I loved playing the original Supreme Commander on PC, though I definitely spent more time with the Foraged Alliance expansion for it then the main game content. I did not know that it was available on Xbox.
