International pop star Shakira appeared on "Lopez Tonight" with George Lopez , where she tried to teach the comedian and host how to shake his hips. He was a reluctant student.

George shouldn't overly roll "r" in her name coz in Spanish the single "r" is soft while a double "r" is rolled. My cousin used to model with her when she was about 10 and he was a teen. He was teaching her to skate too coz he was a champion skater back in the days. Wonder if she would remember him? Love how down to earth she is.
not in this case, it's a grammatical error not a colloquialism like in the case of pronouncing the "t" sound in the word "often" is optional...some say it "of'"n", I think he probably learned English 1st and learned to roll the "r" and was so proud of being able to do it, decided to do it unnecessarily. language is strange and always changing but some rules stay the same....I think our English still has nuances of german, Irish or Welch...take for instance the pronunciation of the word "of", being said as if the "f" were a "v". @NonnnnO92 well now that i think of it back in around 02 or 03 she was talking a loooot about she was half lebanese but in mexico, cuz they ask her all about her sexxxy hips moves n she always responded saying its cuz im half lebanese n stuff like that, but yeah recently i havent heard her talk abuot her roots
