5:23 I like how almost every other character’s throw involves a stylish multi hit sequence, or grabbing them and slamming them onto something. And then there’s just Motaro who casually strolls up, grabs you by the face and decks you with a single punch that does more damage then your average throw. It’s a shame he has no brutality off of said throw.

The use of camera shifts and slow motion on the normal throws is in the same league as how the Yakuza series frames Heat Actions, with quick cuts and extreme angles to emphasize the move's impact. MK1 doesn't go quite so wild with things, but it's probably better to not go as cinematic as that on normal throws, so as to keep things more readable for the purposes of a fighting game.
This is probably too many words to say "this game's throw animations are cool" but eh, sometimes you want to get analytical.

It’s randomized based on what fighter he mimics. If he mimics Kitana he does the square wave 😂
