It’s been 5 years. I was 18 when I first heard this. Now I’m 23 ready to move onto a big chapter in my life and this song captures all the emotions I’m feeling thinking about leaving the place I have called home for 20 years, the memories made, friends made, heartbreaks, sad and good times. Washed Out, thank you for the amazing music you have made throughout the years. If you see this, know you have a huge fan here in the USA. I have grown up with your music, and I bet so have many others.
