Hooper is an Olympian and a good fighter, but he didn't take Powdrill seriously and that's what happens. Never underestimate your opponent.

I train where hooper does and I've seen him do amazing stuff. He really is a bloody machine. That was a lucky shot. Although he shouldn't have tried to catch the jab with his left hand.
Lots of GREAT fighters (Hooper is not one of them) fight with their hands low, but they don't do that in the first round. Complete disrespect for his opponent and complete overconfidence in his skills. He paid heavily.
Left hand too low all the time by Hooper... Credit to both guys though. Hooper could have been a big head and was very friendly when they touched gloves, maybe he was too relaxed. Powdrill went straight back to see how Hooper was, that was all class and then even opened the ropes for what looked to be the doctor. Pure class Rob Powdrill.

Hooper is a great fighter,, Rob did get a lucky one but thats how fight are one or lost,Robs trainer even said we think he is vunerable (plus he needed to stay pretty for his fight the following week) ,Robs punch knocked him out cold whereas Rob the bum blocks punches with his head no problems, its what a good fighter does,,able to go the distance
