I never in my life thought that at 29 years old I’d start my own business and STILL not be the young guy. I know more then a few 19-21 year olds doing dumpsters. This is definitely going to be an era of young and hungry entrepreneurs. ✊
Times make it so these younger kids don't need to work for someone else for 10-15 years before doing their own thing. They have the tools, and drive to start right out of high school anymore. Thanks for the support Joe, very much appreciate you brother.
That kid has his shit together he cares about his men and there families because they rely on you. This world needs more men like the two of you. Keep these kind of videos rolling. I might have a trailer for now but everything i have is clean,nice graphics not all dented and rusty.

@@samedaydumpster there’s a young man in my neighborhood that is very similar. He’s been doing landscaping since before he had a license. He would drive around the neighborhood on a riding mower pulling a trailer to maintain contracts and get his dad, friends dads, and even a GF’s dad to drive him and his enclosed trailer that he bought before he even had a license. I’m so looking forward to seeing how he grows. Great “kid”!
I’m glad you mention the truck wash. There is a commercially zoned property 2 miles north of our municipal landfill along a major state and US highway…
A clean image is priceless when it comes to recruiting and hiring. Guys understand that a business willing to wash their equipment, will also be willing to take care of their employees.

I 100% agree with you on this.
Hard to compete with larger companies pay/benefits. My brother works for major banking institution and is currently on 3mo paid paternity leave.
Health insurance is another major hurdle. Can not find an affordable plan for my own family. $2000+mo.
I was using a temp agency for labor. Last major land cleanup we did 3 guys never showed up.
I do get calls all the time asking if we are hiring and people see my CLEAN and unique truck/trailer and come up to me wanting work.
But given the current state of the economy, I plan to stay as lean as possible. Hate to bring someone on just to lay them off before Christmas slow down.
These record interest rates are really starting to impact the housing/ construction industry. I believe there are still rough waters ahead. So I plan to stay cash and lean as possible.
Lots of competition now, not like it was a couple years ago. Guys that are over leveraged will not make it. I heard my number 1 residential competitor was going out of business (franchise), but now another franchise just popped up. So I guess it is a never ending battle. One goes down another pops up.
