FILM DESCRIPTION:
Diana Prince lives quietly among mortals in the vibrant, sleek 1980s -- an era of excess driven by the pursuit of having it all. Though she's come into her full powers, she maintains a low profile by curating ancient artifacts, and only performing heroic acts incognito. “I’ve never wanted anything more. But he’s gone and that’s the truth” this was the moment where Diana finally accepts the love of her life’s death. The truth isn’t ALWAYS beautiful it can be painful and devastating but at least it’s real.
Yeah, you're right.
Nonetheless in JL and at the end of WW, when receiving the photograph, she still loves Steve. With Cyborg in JL she said something like that: "I am still working on it". To open back up to people.
So for me she won't get over him, because in all honesty Steve is way above anyone else she sees. He is Her true hero, Her everything!.
This might be the WORST movie I have ever seen ......
@@mikerotonda6264 you have a bad taste tho
He died?
@@mikerotonda6264 Who forced you to watch this??? Take it up with that person. Not here.
That speech with a beautiful lie playing in the background made this my favorite scene in the movie.
"Sometimes the truth isn’t good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded."
He’s the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now
A lie Batman pay the price for in The Dark Knight Rises.
Then Bane comes along and reveals the truth
A beautiful lie
Then that wanting becomes an egg eventually a parasite will grow like greediness that devour every wanting more. Consumerism and Capitalism destroys and damage our natural resources because of exploitation, ecological and environmental damage, animal killings for clothes and garments due to their skin, etc.
The line "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to everyone else" gave me chills
I didn't like the movie but I liked that line.
Seeing Maxwell frowning, being outsmarted and seeing Wonder Woman smiling is satisfying (=|
it gave me chills to cause she's right cause we all struggle and suffered and we all want more than anything, power and strength. and I love how the Beautiful Lie theme is in the background
@@iClone316 I liked this movie though I really enjoyed it when I went to see it at the cinema with dad
Yeah, A millionaire actress talking to us , about excess, and life choices.... Lol!!!
"You cannot have it all. You can only have the truth." is legitimately *such* a powerful line. Possibly the best moral lesson I heard in a super-hero flick in a decade. Such a shame it's stuck in such a mess of a movie...
that makes no sense.
@@adammorra3813 What doesn't?
@Konrad Gościcki the quote, you cannot have it all only the truth. Its non sensical.
@@adammorra3813 The world isn't perfect. Sometimes we, as people, *really* want something which is unachievable. Sometimes we want all of their suffering and struggles to be magically wished away. This kind of mindset leads to our emotional decay. By constantly focusing on things outside of our control, we became jaded, bitter, unhappy. By trying to attain the impossible, we neglect and lose things we have, or could have. That's why instead of wasting time on our greed, wanting our pain to never be there in the first place, we have to learn to accept it. Take lives we do have, depite their flaws and struggles. That is "the truth" - the only world we are ever gonna get.
I think it's pretty clear. Diana tries to teach us to be humble, and learn to live happily in our reality.
@Konrad Gościcki bro you got all that from that one sentence? Thats pretty deep. I interpreted it that obviously there are things you can change. So Steve cant come back from the dead. But you can have it all by finding another love. Dont think you are unlovable and need to avoid the pain. Or if Cheetah wants to be more desirable and cool like Diana, she can make changes and have all of that.
This film may not have been the best, but a lot of people needed to hear that speech that year
And me you must renounce your wish if you want to save this world
Hans Zimmer knows how to set the right tone
No matter what he's given. He's a genius.
the way she breaks the 4th wall at 1:42 gives me chills, I love it so much
I love it too and I love how the Beautiful Lie theme is in the background and most of all she's right cause we all struggle and suffered and we all want more than anything power and strength
Deadpool: HEY THATS MY THING I'M GONNA SUE HER
@@minekurtmininer216 Fanfictasia Deadpool: Come on, it's OK to let some people do it. You should see my Harley when she broke the fourth wall for the first time.
It's chilling
Seems to me like she's looking past the camera, not exactly giving me 4th wall breaking vibes.
I felt that… “ Why would I?” “When it’s finally my turn”.
Because ultimately, EVERYONE wants a turn, but the sad truth is, not everyone gets one. 😢
Even though the entire movie made no sense, I still love this speech.
I invite everyone to read the holy Quran
Wonder Woman was awesome
Kush Garg Oh come on its 66 yrs after ww
It actually made sense
@@har5814 It makes sense if you try not to make sense of it. If you're watching the movie, shoveling buttered popcorn in your mouth, and watching TikTok during the boring dialogue scenes I'm sure it'd make complete sense.
I love her speech. I love the sound 😢. So sad so beautiful 🔥❤
If only this speech solved all the world's problems...
Wonderwoman is actually doing something, is a speech for everyone. It talks indirectly about capitalism, consumption, consumerism, exploitation because of human unquenchable and thirst and hunger and lust for power, money, dominance, influence, exploitation of natural resources to benefit a company. The never ending cycle of slavery, the widening gap between rich and the poor, injustices borne from social caste class system....because of human greedines and unsatisfied appetite nature that brings more destruction in the long run more than it brings peace and harmony. If materialism is your definition of happiness then it is not happiness at all. It is a lie. Beautiful lie.
Hoping against hope
@@har5814 hoping against the envy, misunderstanding, greed especially against pain
Pure classic Wonder Woman
Gal Gadot was incredible in this scene.
For real? Are you serious. She is a talking cardboard box.
@@ryanwarner5006She was great in this scene what you talking about
The whole movie aside .... This scene is pure gold ✨
Interestingly enough, this is a theme music that was used during Batman versus Superman whenever it was showing Bruce Wayne's parents dead. His parents died in 1982 and seeing as how it's 1984, it would stand to reason that Bruce Wayne wished for his parents back but decided to give up his wish.
There actually wasn't any confirmation about what year his parents died in the DCEU/Snyderverse. My headcanon is that he wished for time with them instead of Alfred, and they were in the cinema when this renouncing was happening, thus meaning he couldn't renounce his wish, which resulted in his parents getting killed. The use of Beautiful Lie is a big element to this because BvS is all about Bruce believing in lies, mainly those from Lex and Wally. But the "you let your family die" clinched it for me when I was watching BvS the other night. Lex is shown to know about metahumans and even though this event isn't acknowledged it stands to reason he knew this happened in 1984 and that Bruce's wish got Martha and Thomas killed.
OH MY GOD A TALKING MUFFIN!!!
Wat I don't get it, how Bruce wanting time with his parents got them killed ?@@calumsanderson6741
A message we need reminding of constantly.
Whoever that is stalking me....God bless you. Lol
A beautiful lie from Batman V Superman ( Batman ) Themes was perfect for Diana
It obivously best suits Bruce rather than Diana. It relates to his origins in the Snyderverse.
It made no sense being there.
@@MrJodete23 It made sense. See, Max Lord and Bruce Wayne are foils to one another: children forced to grow up too fast due to family incidents.
@@thestarkknightreturns it's the world related....... and Batman was filled with pain but here in this movie it gives how truth can be both good and bad.......but it is real way to face reality is only truth

I still don’t know why someone hates this movie. This scene is awesome!
Ikr
I mean, I could spell out for you why movies this bad shouldn't be supported, but something tells me it would fall on deaf ears. I'll do my best though.
Boring/ pointless 15 minute opening sequence, just to set a ham-fisted theme of "shortcuts are bad".
Steve takes over another human being's body, who then unknowingly is sexually assaulted, and put in grave danger by Diana.
Cheetah's motivation is she is jealous of Diana. Specifically her shoes.
Steve takes charge in a Wonder Woman movie.
They just happen to run into Max in all of Egypt on a random road.
Cheetah fight looks like dookie.
This speech isn't even that good. If you can take each sentence and put them in a different order of being said, it would still have the same meaning. (It's disconnected, and has no flow for an ending monologue)
@@skrounstplus what does it say about the people who made selfless wishes? That they're also undeserving? Like if someone wishes that their friend or loved one didn't have cancer anymore, or if someone wishes for world peace or the end to war or for all the weapons of mass destruction to disappear? What does that say?
Literally I'm on tears no matter how much you can wish soon you ended accepting it

Maxwell Lord had a rough childhood caught asleep at the wheel and the world nearly paid for it.

I keep coming back to this scene with all the talk of the Wish movie and whether the King is right or wrong - which is ironic since Chris Pine is voicing the King in Wish.
Anyway, great final scene one of the most underrated superhero films.
0:26 When I first saw this and heard this theme I said, Oh no I haven’t heard this theme since The Batman Vs Superman movie and at first I thought Diana Lost in this scene, Also that whole speech felt so much like a break the fourth wall moment
And I thought Deadpool was one of the only superhero’s who could break the fourth wall. Now Wonder Woman? She just talked to me at 1:39
Great movie, great story!

Hearing beautiful lie again was amazing
Until now, I still questioned why I cried at this scene, despite it not making much sense. 😑
Because we, as humans, want to believe in a better world
😂 this scene so powerful because it refreshes the memory of bvs opening sequence.
The scene made sense in it perfect timing. Sometimes our desires are not meant to be. They have a price and can ultimately hurt more people then just ourselves. Often we fail to look at the bigger picture.
It’s a shame the actors were letdown by a screenplay with so many plot holes and conveniences. They really should have taken their time to ensure the suspension of disbelief factor didn’t get way out of control.
Correct because their would be parents who would wish that their love ones where not dying due to some illness. They would never take back that wish.
Awesome

Gal Gadot is amazing, a true goddess
The goddess agrees.
i swear the song was a stock song used. I mean it fit perfectly but I have heard it somewhere else.
It isn’t a stock song but it is “A Beautiful Lie” - first featured in Batman v Superman, during the opening scene with the Waynes’ death. Unless you’ve heard it before then, which would be interesting
How did the rope twist on his ankles? Is the rope somehow like a sentient thing?
This scene and speech are beautiful and do bring a tear to my eye
But I cant deny that the overall movie was disappointing

batman v superman music, batmans theme here
Good very
The truth can be beautiful but some truths are dark and horrible sometimes you want to forget it or block it out because the truth is to painful to face. Sometimes a little imagination gose along way to help someone fight the darkness within.
Same music that plays in Batman's parents' death scene in Batman v Superman.

I can't stop seeing this. This is really, to be honest, it is my favourite movie of all times. I keep saying to myself that I do love the character Wonder Woman in DCEU, I wish if the same character&actor could've been in the MCU, it would've been way better to see Thor, Loki and Wonder Woman at the same time.
This is the most sentimental scene you've got in the whole DC Universe. I wish she was real, then I would certainly prove powers can't define physics. Pure golden memories.
As beautiful as this scene was, I still wanted a kickass fight scene. 😮💨
wonder woman is this, she always tries to use logic and words, if you want endless fighting watch a batman movie, if you read comics diana is always trying to make people see the better side of them and humanity
