For me it was since i was 17. People with low GABA (Google it) they get addicted to alcohol because it increases it. The problem is that the nervous system becomes reliant on it.

I think if he's been struggling with addiction since he was 15, his wife probably came into his life after it developed and honestly who knows how hard stuff has been on her, can't blame her for walking away and prioritising herself tbh

Sadly in this country rehab is 10,000 a week. Only private insurances now are accepted for rehab eliminating 99% of all who will go to rehab. My jaw hit the floor when I tried to get helped and I was scoffed at for not having my shit together, so I sobered up on the street, at work, while I couldn't sleep... its no wonder people do not quit.

I know a lot of loose units who do all kinds of exotic substances and I have seen some people that get pretty messed up. This is a new level and all things considered the police did a real good job here, a lot of places they'd just throw you in the drunk tank overnight. Hopefully this guy gets some help because doing this to yourself is only going to get someone hurt sooner or later. Know your limits!

yeah at the height of my addiction i was mixing everything with alcohol. xanax and alcohol most commonly. Id go on a bender for days at a time and not remember entire weeks. its a miracle i never went to jail tbh

My buddy used to drink like that and I'd tell him what he was saying the next day. He would get super angry at ME and hold onto the anger even though I was trying to help him.
@@elferson yeah i did construction work. little bit of everything. house remodel, masonry, decks etc. family business, paid cash. did a lot of jobs that incredibly overcharged rich people, but they didnt really care. went to rehab a couple years ago and i still owe debt on that lmao. expensive either way

Alcohol can absolutely destroy you like that, especially if you're not used to it. It's one of the worst drugs out there. And one of the hardest to quit if you get addicted.

I've never been a big fan of being absolutely shit-faced like Trystan and not having full awareness of my surroundings. I have done plenty of partying, clubbing, going to concerts and gigs were drugs and alcohol were present and I've always had my wits about me. I really don't like being the person to look after people who are too wasted, been there and done that too many fucking times, it ruins any kind of enjoyment and can make things volatile at any moment. I lost 3 teeth because my friend got too shit-faced and he thought I was trying to mug him so he punched me twice in the face, I hit him back almost immediately because I was tired with his bullshit. Drinking can be fun, but it can also be a double-edged sword if someone wants to be a liability in the group, drink responsibly ladies and gents.

it's not that easy my guy. They can become even more violent if they don't get what they want, i encountered these type of people. I agree that it should be the norm, i sometimes try to discourage someone to drink when i see them in that state, but i must feel safe and be sure they are not violent if i don't give them drinks. Those are some times when i worked as a bartender
