You are so inspirational, Jodie! Besides being a content creator, you're a comedian ( witness all the funny thoughts in K'eyush's videos) and tremendously charming. Big hugs to you and the fluffy boi (and Nan, too)!!😊
Aw that's so sweet, thank you Brian! Hope you have a lovely week!
@@jodie_boo Special Request: I was just watching Sherpa's latest video and Eye Spyed a lovely Roast Dinner @ 7:22 czcams.com/video/PVQAqKCoeIs/video.html
Is that a Yorkshire Pudding I see on his plate? Could you make a video showing how real English people do it?
My mother-in-law taught me the "immigrated to Canada two generations ago" version. Mine look *absolutely nothing* like that! The ones on the plate look so substantial, lovely golden brown, flaky ... I am drooling!
@@suestoons The dinner looked very delicious that Jodie and her mum made.
Key at the end was like-
"enough of pottery weirdo, I, lord key needs attention (in an obvious cute manner as always), if you don't mind I could get some rubs" 😁
Haha, yeah he gets grumpy when I'm out there too long, too long by his standards, is any length of time ;D
I’m so delighted to see a female taking charge of her garage! I’m 60 years old, and I was considered such a freak when I was your age for having a work shop. Delightful video!
I love having a workshop and so many tools! I'm more excited to get a new tool than a new bag or shoes 😂
I'll be 60 in 6 weeks. My crafting buddy and my college buddy and I, all 3 of us have our own workshops so you're definitely not a freak. One of the biggest advantages of the internet, being able to connect with like-minded individuals.
Work shops and sheds are for every one not just for men . Girls, claim your sheds .
@@jodie_boo My boyfriend always tells everyone that i am more excited to go shopping for tools than for jewelry or clothes. Thats just the way we creative folks are. Always thinking of what we can make. Also, Key is absolutely adorable. My favorite dog to watch.
@@jodie_boo I’m the same I’d much rather go shopping for wool and crochet tools than buy shoes or clothes. When everyone was queuing for hours outside primark after lockdown I just thought it was sad that people thought after all we had been through cheap clothes made by people that hardly get anything for their work was far more important.
This is beautiful Jodie. You're such an talented individual. Make it big Jodie, best of luck to you. Thanks for this amazing video
Aw thank you so much, that's sweet :)
I love good comments like this on social media... Just a light in a world that can be pretty gloomy...... But Key is lookin' pretty sorry n lazy if I may say so lol.... Too many Salmon flavored snacks n toast... Needs to get his life in order lol jk...
😍 Key looked so comfy and adorable at the end of your video.
Jodie I admire your creativity and skills at building and fixing things. Well done.
Aw thanks Stacy! He looks so cute all snuggled up :)
Jodie has skillz and fluffy Key dreams every night of having his own studio too, a waffle and biscuit making studio 🤣🐕
Haha, that would be a fun studio!
Key: "Oh sure! Weirdo plays with mud inside and its a good thing. I play in mud and I get in trouble!"
Long-distance hugs Key, I know what you mean.
Haha, he would have fun stomping in the clay ;D
Haha I’m rubbing my hands like a fly with joy and the spinning hasn’t even begun yet. 😆 What a fantastic hobby when you have a shop to do it in! Also, I chose wood shop over home economics back in the primary school days, and I think it’s cool you do your own projects. Have fun with that. Love the work! ✨Have a great day!🌻
That makes me smile! I'm so lucky I have this space and the tools to make things. I hope you enjoy my future pottery videos! :)
I hated home economics . I liked woodworking
I always loved Art and Design In highschool. We used a variety of media, but clay was my 1st over. I wish I could have a studio Ike Yous.
I'm surprised you got so much done without Key interfering. Lol. You are very talented Jodie, you can turn your hand to anything. Can't wait to see what you end up with. Mugs with Key on perhaps? Good luck. Xxxx
Thank you Paulette! I do have a lot of plans for Key things to make :)
I keep a small fan running in my garage during the humid months, keeps mold away. Wonderful hobby I love it! In the late 90s, I took a two year arts program and my favorite course was pottery. I LOVED glazing and seeing the final product after firing. Having to wait to take the pieces out of the kiln was like waiting for the Sears Christmas catalogue to arrive lol
We would need that running all the time in the UK with all the rain we get 😂 Haha, yeah the waiting is the worst part! But so worth it!
It's cool to see this cute little English girl that I've been watching for her really sweet relationship with her husky dog, turn out to be handier with power tools than most of the men I know here in Canada. Keep up the great work!
Haha, thank you William! I love my tools :)
I am so impressed with your talents, Key isn't the only impressive one in the family! You GO Girl!
Awesome seeing you turn a hobby into a professional workplace! Can't wait to see your creations!
The workshop renovations look amazing. I can't wait to see more of your amazing creations. I love such videos which are educational and also showcase more about you and your amazing talents. I hope to see more of them.
Aw that's so nice to hear! I'm glad you enjoy my crafting videos :)
Hai u India na :) I am Indian but i live in California :)
JB, I've been a fan for YEARS, it is so nice to see someone using "professional grade" tools. Good for you, keep up being a "Life Long Learner"
Wow! You're such a Renaissance woman! You do so many things and you're fearless! You just go for it! And you're incredibly creative. The way you've turned getting a dog into a unique adventure that captivates the whole world, and all your other endeavors-- is just amazing. Very few people could do all that you're doing, and forge a life that's uniquely you, and not just a job that you go to that someone else defines. On top of all that, you have a sweetness and humility that's very refreshing to everyone who watches your videos. Good for you for setting an example to everyone. You inspire me to try to do what I love and build on that. Thank you!
I like when women aren’t afraid to use actual power tools. I was raised that it’s men’s work, but when I met my boyfriend’s mom, 22 years ago, I learned that wasn’t the case. She just gutted a house and remodeled the entire thing with very little help. She replaced everything down to the studs, insulation, sheetrock, etc. She also does a lot of arts and crafts and sewing herself. Between her and my boyfriend, I have learned how to do a lot on my own. You are a good inspiration for girls to show them they can do anything and don’t have to depend on others all the time. Your artwork, jewelry and crafts are fabulous! You have a wonderful imagination as well. Your relationship with Key is so special. Thank you for allowing us all to have a glimpse into your life! Much love from Upstate New York, 🇺🇸
Aw Jodie my dear! I'm so glad that you are doing a update on your workshop! I cannot watch the whole video as my data on my phone is running out!😂 So I will watch again when I am back home!!😀 Fluff my luck!!!!😂
Also I cannot wait to see some of the pottery that you come up with!
I wish you all a great week ahead! Love and best wishes Terry xx 😃✌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Aw don't waste your data on my videos Terry, just watch when you're home :) And have a great week!
@@jodie_boo Aw thanks my dear! I will! Definitely!!😃
What I I love most about about your videos is the humanity behind them. You make them to share, not to profit,
Great choice. Continued blessings to you and Key🙏💖💖💖
Thanks for posting - very nice job with Jodie's Workshop! Great also at the finale to get a daily fix of the Cute Sleepy Boy Key!
I'm so glad you liked the video! :)
There's something about watching a beautiful & talented woman use power tools to build stuff that just puts a smile on your face. Key gets all of the attention but Jodie is friggin awesome too!
Haha, aw thank you so much! 😊
Beautiful work shop! I know you will love creating all sorts of pottery. Many folks, at least in our area, love the less than perfect pieces, they are unique, so don’t toss them away!!
A lady after my own heart. I'm into jewellery making, woodwork, pottery and all sorts and don't get me started on some fantastic tools 😁 but alas, no studio. I'll happily make do with looking and envying yours 😁 Love to Key too xx
Haha, there's just so much fun to be had from making your own things. I am lucky to have this space to work in!
I love making my own jewellery. And also pots.
Not only do you make beautiful jewelry, now you going to make pottery too, I did pottery in my first year of college and really enjoyed it and mad a vase covered with a rose and leaves I was so pleased with it and had so much fun, you are so talented can not wait to see them glazed😊.
Thank you Jenny! It is so rewarding making your own things :)
With Key around this is sure to be a great success ❤❤❤💯💯💯
He's a good supervisor ;D
What a beautiful place to doll the talented things you do !not many woman handle a power saw ! I am so gladlthat the shop is coming along so well !I have my own power to ! Excellent video
You are so talented Jodie! I was never creative in the least...unless you consider cake decorating creative! lol. My sister-in-law loves making pottery and ceramics, she made my mom a beautiful Christmas tree which I have now since my mom passed. I’m looking forward to seeing your pottery videos!
I’m a retired nurse, plus I’m a worrier! Please be very careful around the green mold. Or mold of any color. It can cause so many serious respiratory illnesses if you would be breathing it in for any length of time. When disposing of it, you should wear a respirator mask and gloves ..even protective hair covering. The mold spores easily transfer onto porous surfaces, especially into lungs and on the skin. The different types of mold spores cause different illnesses. Mold can cause a variety of medical problems, primarily respiratory problems. For instance, aspergillus often causes respiratory infections like bronchitis and pneumonia, as well as inflammation of the lungs. Penicillium often causes sinus infections and inflammation of the lungs.
Some types of mold can cause other symptoms, as well. For instance, penicillium causes allergic reactions in some people that include symptoms like itchy skin rashes and hives. In really severe cases, allergic reactions even include swelling of the throat and difficulty breathing.
Okay, I’m finished lecturing! I’m sorry if you already knew about mold but wanted to make certain if you weren’t aware. I don’t want anything to happen to Key’s Weirdo! lol. Sending love for all of you ❤️❤️
Best joy and inspiration within those walls! You're a clever, gentle spirit - wishing you the best.
Aw thank you Karen, that's so sweet :)
@@jodie_boo Deserved, Jodi. Amplified. Hug to Key this morning. -love him, and the quality of life you share together.
Whoa whoa wait a minute….is there anything Jodie isn’t excellent at?! Talk about having it all, brains, beauty, hilarious, 5 star waffle maker, caring, sweet, incredibly creative and assist to the Lord of Waffles! The list goes on but one amazing human, we’re so lucky to share glimpses of your skills & confidence, thank you Jodie.
The process you made on your workshop is incredible Jodie. So much organisation and hard work has gone into your on space. Love the molding frame and shelving you made. Plus I fluffing love the sign of Your Workshop and Key's Rules, it's so funny. 🐾
Thank you so much! The sign is great, it was sent in by a subscriber called Lewis :)
@@jodie_boo Aww that was really nice of them I'd love a one that says Brucie Boy's rules. I think it would be funny because as we all know huskies are soooo demanding. 💙 🤣🐾
That is Good Jodie Love you and Key so much🐶🐶💕💞🐾🐾
My late aunt was huge into ceramics in her later years dedicated a whole garage to her passion she also outgrow one kiln and ended up with two and she taught classes to friends in her spare time.
P.s I'd love to see more pottery videos too
That sounds great! I would like to eventually get a raku kiln. It's so much fun making pottery :)
Very cool Jodie!! Can’t wait to see the finished products!!!
Thanks Serena!
I love your workshop. So organized 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! I'm trying to keep it tidy :)
Yay, studio content! I really do love watching fellow crafters work, and organize. =)
You KNOW at some point Key will claim this as his territory too!
I still can't believe how many mad skills you have.
I was wondering when Lord Key would come looking forward attention. But his looking all comfy, sleepy (still needing the belleh toll), was so adora-ball! With love and hugs and cyber belleh rubs for his right honourable floofiness, Lord Key😍😍😍😚😚😚💞💖💓👋✋👊
So excited for you! You do know that you have to have proper ventilation, yes? There are suction fans you can add underneath or above and then an exhaust fan would need to be bored into the wall or out the window, etc. Not just for heat but for off-gassing of toxins from the glaze processing. I wish you many happy projects!
Jodie, I admire your skills and creativity. Well done! 👍👍👍
Glad to see these types of videos again. I really loved your jewelry making ones and all the various DIY stuff. 🙂
That is too cool!! You're so creative and talented! Of course Key is going to expect custom special ceramic bowls for each of his meals... 😂🤩🐺
PS you could have pottery workshops! I feel like I learned so much! 😊🤩
A Jack Of All Trades..what else can you do? Always amazing! Love all your videos. Keep em coming!
Thank goodness you got rid of the mold!! Congrats on all of your progress and success. :)
Awh I'm so happy for you! You should be proud of yourself ❤
Aw thank you! :)
I was just wondering if you'd done anything with your pottery wheel since you got it 😁 You're so handy, Jodie! Is there anything you can't do? 😆
Now that I've got the kiln set up I'll be using it a lot :)
Cool! Thanks for sharing the process, Miss Jodie. 👋🏾🧔🏾
I love seeing your workshop. You have many artistic talents. Keep up the fun.
I’m so envious ! I’m working on creating a studio in an old milk house on my property. I’ve gotten side tracked with life, but so excited to get it going. Looking forward to your pottery. And, of course, Key’s input.
Wow so interesting. Lots of work. Can’t wait to see what else you make. Key is so cute.
Thank you Kathy!
Great job on the renovation. Very impressed with your creations and your drive to be creative. Thank you for all the videos and the joy you and Key bring to everyone. 😎

I like the way you describe making it as you assemble. Makes sense.
I'm glad it all makes sense :)
That is excellent. I like when people show the creative side. Will be interesting watch pots made and glazed.
I’m impressed with your electric saw skills! You go girl!
Good luck with your studio! Hope Lord K'eyush doesn't claim it as his too 😂😂
Haha, he would if there was a comfy spot to lay down ;D
I think you have a gift from God you seem to be able to do anything Key is very cute.

What a great personality u r with osm talent . good luck and God bless you with great success and prosperity in your life ❤️❤️😘😘.key and keys mum are best .❤️❤️❤️😘❤️😘
You're very talented. There's something so special about making, building or things yourself; the results, good or not so good, have meaning. We should support those who do all kinds of crafts and encourage others to learn.
It's starting to look good even though Lord Key was too busy to be a supervisor🤭👏
Haha, I'm sure he will be supervising my pottery at some point ;D
Jodie your workshop is pawsome! ❤😊 You are so creative and talented. A truly gifted artist. I just know your pottery will be fabulous! 😊🌟 looking forward to seeing finished pieces.
Wow, so talented! You go, girl! Looking forward to your pottery making videos. Will you be selling and shipping to the states? 😃
Thank you Stacey! I'm sure I will do! :)

You are so talented Jodie. I have never seen anyone with so many skills. Your pottery corner looks great. I cannot wait to see more creations. K'ey looked so glum knowing it means his Weirdo will be spending more time in her studio. 💞

The "*yeet*" was so funny 🤣
Haha, glad you spotted that :)

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your work shop. And then there’s the good boy, sometimes argumentative, but still a good boy. Key, his weirdo, and Grandma. Always gotta get my daily dose.
Looking forward to see more videos and to see what you make
Great job! Looks like you will be enjoying this!

We are a creative family :)
So lovely - thank you!
Wow! They look great. Awesome start
I use to do a little pottery! It is very fun! I'm glad you can now do it at home Jodie!
That is a cool pottery studio, so You can have a lot of fun there.
It's been many years since I last did any pottery. I took part in Raku pottery and tried to use a homemade "kiln", where we dug up some pieces of grass, placed our pottery and added straws around the pottery, covered it up with the pieces of grass (with dirt attached to it) and set it on fire. Then returned the next day and dug our pottery out. Where the reduction worked the best, our pottery was totaly black. Raku pottery is a very intense experience, where You can make the pottery, let it dry some on top of the kiln, burn it and take it out and put it into a container with straws f.ex. put a lid on it, so there will be a reduction, wich will influence the colors and then take it out and let it cool of in some water. The pottery may get cracks, but that is all part of the charm of Raku pottery. Raku pottery can be done as a one day project.
I love raku firing, I sculpted my own hand and raku fired it, it came out looking like a zombie hand! I plan to get a raku kiln when I have more space. I've also done smoke firing. All so much fun!
Your workshop is really coming along! Amazing 💙
I'm so lucky to have it :)
i love watching your videos! for me, they're so relaxing and therapeutic. thank you for the video Jodie!
That's so nice to hear! Thank you so much 😊

Aww look at Key sleeping like that. So cute. ❤️
