The funniest part about the rating system is that 1/3 of the community thinks they have to leave high ratings so Puzzles will let them go, another 1/3 think low ratings are the key, while the final 1/3 leaves a genuine rating, it’s a mess.
😮...My parents said if I hit 20k they'd buy me a professional camera begging you guys literally begging !!!.
I'm part of that final 1/3, because I'm thinking Puzzles won't let them out either way.
If he gets high ratings, that reinforces that his show is a success and he'll keep going.
If he gets low ratings, he'll probably try even harder to make his show "perfect."
So because of that, I'm pretty sure that's where that final 1/3 come from.
I feel like the views are the key! The lower the views are the more nervous Mr. Puzzles will get, take last week’s episode for example!

Growing up watching *Scooby Doo* , Tari as Velma was honestly the most based out of all portrayals, since both have important role of her intelligence and also clumsy, I knew she would loses her glasses in this episode. @@LittleVictorianWitch While it could represent how Mario is seen as an animal by his friends that they might abandon (well mostly in season 12), I think it also symbolizes how he might be aware of the crew being trapped in a simulation. Dogs are known for constantly being aware and capable of detecting whether something is wrong.
Off topic and I might get attacked, but I think if a character is going to die, it'll most likely be Meggy. I mean, sure she's popular and a main character, but what is there to even do with her? Unless Sunset Paradise season 2 happens, she's gone through so much that I think it's time she bites the dust.

8:02 gives me a theory.
Theory: I think that as each episode goes on, the more intense it gets when the SMG4 crew starts finding out that they are trapped. In Mario’s Mysteries it starts off less intense with just showing Meggy, Tari, and SMG3 stuck in the TV. In Once Upon An SMG4, it gets more intense when SMG3 wishes that everyone could escape the world Mr. Puzzles trapped them in. Then in this one, Mario & Luigi find the room where Mr. Puzzles is watching the crew and its the most intense we have seen of them seeing that they are trapped. I’m hoping to see it get more intense with the next two episodes of then finding that they are trapped in a world that isnt their actual world.

I love how Mr. Puzzles is the one sabotaging this arc. Mario' Mysteries had minimal Mr. Puzzles appearances and there were no continuity breaks. Once Upon a SMG4 Mr. Puzzles takes a slightly more active role and then a minor break happens. In this one here, Scooby Mario whered you go, he takes his most active role by far which leads to a minor break mentioning Mario's Mysteries and a major break where Mario and Luigi break into a security office that is most likely how Mr. Puzzles watches over and controls the cast whenever hes off-screen
I’m really curious of what the last two episodes will be like, Something tells me Mr Puzzles will be causing some serious damage to the main characters soon
I think it is because Mr Puzzles is in truth, trying to take over the SMG4 Cast by basically using them as a vessel to piggyback off of.
Think of it as an "OC Donut Steel" case, where we have a character insert start to take over the show and slowly intrude on the characters the longer he exists within it.
He tried before with Western Spaghetti, where he used One-Shot Wren to lure in Meggy, the apparent Author Favorite for a long time, and tried to mentally break her... Only failing thanks to Mario managing to break through to Meggy and Tari and help them both escape.
This is likely why Mario has been shoved into the form of Animals throughout the Puzzlevision series, as it not only minimizes his role and powers, but it also gives Mr Puzzles all the excuses to abuse the hek out of Mario whenever he can.
Basically, he is doing all that to Mario out of Pure Spite.

Another PuzzleVision Theory:
Mr. Puzzles doesn't consider Mario as a friend of SMG4 and his crew, he's more of a pet for him: Making everyone laugh, jokes around but in last episodes he didn't really act as a main character.
That's why he is always portraited as a useless pet like a deer or an annoying dog, or another dog that just reacts to scary stuff.
I never really thought of it other than I love SMG4 is opening up more to give his cast more character development and longer screen time
Honestly that could even explain the shit with Mario last year and the Mario abuse.

So from what I’ve seen, Mr. Puzzles can rewind time and has been able to spy on the gang, but only recently. While Mr. Puzzles seems mentally unhinged and unstable while off camera, however he can only properly function when he is acting or roleplaying a part. From what I’ve gathered, there are only two possible explanations for him keeping the gang under his control: 1. He is so lonely, that the isolation has caused him to become unstable and insane, hiding away from reality through acting and roleplaying.
2. He simply wishes to be in control of the entire world and the gang was his biggest obstacle in the way. So he tricked SMG4 in the Gotta Be Perfect movie with a keyboard in order to destroy him and his friends so no one could stop him. But when SMG4 and his friends survived, he resorted to what he is doing now. Keeping them trapped and tormenting them.

Fun fact: In one of the frames in the TV room, before the camera cuts to Mario and Luigi, you will see the gameshow on one of the screens but Melony appears infront of the wheel and Mr Puzzles. This could show that Melony might be a contestant of the show.
This actually leads to a theory I've had. Unlike the previous arc villains, Mr Puzzles is meant to be more of an allegorical character. Specifically, he's an allegory for the dark side of the entertainment industry (Sorta like how Heath Ledger's Joker was an allegory of America Post 9/11) . Remember seeing Meggy, SMG3, and Tari begging for help in Mario's mysteries? I interpret that scene as to how lots of scandals happen in the entertainment industry that sadly go unreported since companies care more about their image than the actors involved.

That's an actually good theory about Mr. Puzzles and like how you have he as being a allegory to the dark side of the entertainment industry where he want to put on a good show, not knowing the negative outcome of it;
Like how he had destroy and shrunk Princess Peach's castle into a abyss when he gives SMG4 the demonic keyboard in "It's Gonna Be Prefect" or how he had One-Shot Wren, Meggy's idol, trap everyone, especially Meggy, into a western-themed situation world and nearly drives Meggy insane in "Western Spaghetti" or how he manipulating Marty into stealing SMG3's notebook in "War of the Fat Italians 2023".
So, who's know what Mr. Puzzles' endgame is? Maybe he could've been an reverse reflection of SMG4 of how he want to entertain his audience while Mr. Puzzles go full rather 'dramatic phases', to say the least, kinda like how SMG3 were when he were originally start out as a villain to SMG4 back in the time and stuff.

Look at his role in each passing Puzzlevision episode, he's been getting more roles that allow him to push out the main cast and shine the limelight on himself.
It shows that Mr Puzzles seems to be some kind of Parasite, and his influence only became a thing after SMG4 downloaded Mr Puzzle's keyboard like a moron, even though his Popup was _very_ clearly a virus!
In fact, the whole thing with One-Shot Wren may imply that Wren is a case of Mr Puzzles changing his history, and that in the original verse before Mr Puzzles Hijacked the script, Wren just _retired_ and found a simple job to do after he hung up his splatfest bandolier.
Makes more sense than One-Shot Wren being beaten by _Inkura_ and her not talking to him _after_ she bested him. I mean, seriously, Inkura is the type of person to go "Hey, No hard feelings, Right?" to her opponents after each Splatfest, so having Inkura apparently mock Wren with no remorse?
Something is not correct with that picture.

@@benbarnett5743 Or, he can only manipulate perceptions. He isn't rewinding time, he is rewinding His Victim's perceptions.
Note how Mario seems unaffected by Mr Puzzles' mental tricks, resulting in Mr Puzzles having to get physical. SMG4 Mario is not the most perceptive individual of the cast, but that lacking perception ironically also allows him to see the truth for what it is.
