@@seekingshifts I've never delved into purchasing Clionadh shadows, but I still really enjoyed this video. Maybe a mini series of this same theme but for Terra Moons, Devinah, and other single-shadow brands would be fun, albeit a ton of work for you.

Viridian and Auric are two of my favorite shades. They’re so easy to wear for those of us who are a little older and less opportunity to wear the more electric shades.

Smooth gray based golds/greens are my go-tos for easy one shadow looks- especially for work. I have hit pan in almost all of mine haha

Viridian is so so so beautiful. Definitely fun to manipulate as a light-medium Soft Summer, I've put it over so many things and it's so flattering
Agree it’s a great shade to finish a look - I like it with burgundy brown mattes.
Cinder is a fave of mine, I love to layer with it especially. I really like a few here that i dont have yet too, and the few i do have (quest, Flashed glass) i do enjoy. Viridian is gorgeous. Same with auric and coronation. I've heard a few people talk about then. I feel like they are cult faves but not popular faves, if that makes sense. Like those who enjoy them love them but others don't even know of them.

Viridian is one of my favs!! Just a gorgeous smooth uniquely cooler green but also grungy shifty shade. I use it all the time! Surprised to see it here.
Compared to the rest of the deep iridescents it’s not as impactful but I think it’s a unique color
I’m surprised azure isn’t there with viridian a lot of people didn’t like that one much either I like the color of the blue but it’s also not that shifty

Quest was an instant favorite - I definitely overlooked it!!
The circle shadows are hella underrated they are beautiful. I recommend the shades linny and centaur as I picked them up a couple sales ago and they are so sparkly and neutral but so beautiful. I hope they bring those back and expand that line. This is a great idea for a series ;)
Really? I didn't like their circle/regular shadows except for one. The ones I got were quite dull/flat for the shimmers and the mattes were pretty patchy and dusted off. I got them a few years back when I tried them so maybe they reformulated since then
@@kyeoptawerk93ah they did an older collection with singles that was a curated collection and that one was circle pans and that one was fantastic - the range with chocolate orange those ones are also good but I think they are probably going to update to the linny/centaur formula I am guessing and that would be bomb because they do have duds not everything is a hit I agree with you on that.
Surprised that Auric is a low seller, it was one i was most excited about from that expansion! Gotta pick up Court Jester and Quest after this video 😍
Chromatic form the Series 2 Iridescent series is the prettiest, almost skin colored orange, subtle but definitely shifty, safe for work but sexy shade. I worship Chromatic. I barely resisted buying a backup. I’m sure I’ll work through my current once and buy a refill. Even my utterly makeup ignorant father told me, unsolicited, that he really likes that eyeshadow!

I bought Viridian actually. It's such a wearable green.
Cinder and Quest were the standouts to me. In general, I think people are going to Clionadh for super reflective shifts so anything subtle is probably not having the same pull. Also, Clionadh for the longest time was just out of stock of everything, close the site and only reopen it for restock sales, and had long turnaround times, so most people would only order their absolute most anticipated shades. Maybe these shades are the shades you’d order on like your 4th+ order.
I have these and I find them super wearable. The smoother multichomes are easier to apply and I don’t like going too blue. I hope this becomes a new series.
Quest is definitely a gorgeous one.

I love this video idea! Viridian, court jester, and quest are too I’ve always been curious about but never seen anyone using. These swatches look amazing. Another one I wonder about is cerise because it’s more inexpensive in the deep iridescent category but looks really pretty to me and I can’t think of anyone I’ve seen using it.
I just got Quest recently after pining for it endlessly - and it turned out the closest thing (aside from Statue Garden) I have is Permaheart by Shine by SD. I thought it would be similar to Alicorn from Ensley Reign but they’re totally nothing alike. In spirit, Quest reminds me so much of Hilt, my other favorite multichrome - I love the subtlety of a strong grey base with the peachy pink reflect.
I think Clionadh could improve their swatch photos not everybody deals with instagram and CZcams or wants to have to “research”
P.s. If you’re Available to hire I’d recommend you for the job if I was them in my own humble opinion anyway I always look to you for best true to in real life swatches

I wear cinder and flashed glass often - I’m surprised they aren’t popular 😮 but then again I wear a lot of Lilly Pulitzer prints and these go with so many.

Finally catching up on this!! Sooo glad you love Quest and I hope more people learn how stunning it is. I agree with Court Jester getting lost in the corals. Also, i think it got overshadowed by Empress since that's in the same formula but more vibrant and shifty overall. One of my fav circle shadows is Caribou, I think you would like it! It's a gorgeous chocolate brown with lots of sparkle.
For science.., I ordered a few that you’ve been suggesting! I missed out on the 2 you love the most tho! I’m a little sad they were sold out on quest and court jester by the time I got out of work and was able to place my order.
I just wore court jester with ice blink (on the orange side of my blue & orange look from the other day) and it’s definitely a fun orangey coral sort of shade. I also have empress and oriel in the clionadh orange family.. I feel like they’re different enough, but I think I’d not get all three if I could have a do-over haha. I don’t usually go for oranges like that but I really liked the pink flip and it looked cute with ice blink when I wore them together! I wouldn’t have guessed that shade wasn’t as popular but now that I think about it, you in this video and Noopur in a recent IG post mentioned this shade but I can’t think of anyone else I’ve heard talk about it! But I love this video concept, it definitely has to become a series! Thank you Riley for your scientific research and important experimentation ❤❤❤

Omg, watching this now and I feel so justified about court jester! It’s just SO GOOD, especially if you love warm tones! Court jester is what I wantet trinket to be since trinket is very blue on me!
For auric, yeah, I have saffron so I’m like I don’t need auric. Quest is already such a fave of mine. So pretty!
As for the others, flashed glass is a lot prettier than I thought it would be! I love how punchy it is!

That's so interesting, I also looked at what their least sold Stained Glass shadows were recently! I've wanted Quest for a while, it was sold out when I ordered last Christmas, and then when I ordered in August I got Jewelled Lites, Dimensionals and Palace, I didn't even remember to check my wishlist 😅
Viridian and Auric probably are just too similar to other Deep Iridescents
Court Jester kinda gives me vibes of Trinket, but if people wanted a more neutral sparkle rather than a blue!
I passed over Cinder because I have SBSD Hottie, which I've never worn, because hot pinks and reds arent the most "wearable" colors for my needs and comfort. I have Quest tho and I love it.

I don't understand this brand tbh. They release new shades that are not just similar to each other but also to previous shades and call it an "expansion" , and quite frankly the pricing is all over the place. No wonder they don't sell well.
I think brands should be more careful not to dupe themselves (coughTerramoonscough).
