It looks like the changes just keep on coming. It appears that KDP has added upload limits per day for books. In this video I am giving my thoughts on this plus would love to know your thoughts as well.

Yeah, I just got this message, and it startled me. I just started my journey into KDP, and I had planned out my content to publish 4 books today and it only let me publish 3. I imagine the way people can pump these out and with them having to review the books to ensure they are ready for publication, they had to put some quality controls in place.
Yea its a great change in my opinion. There were way too many people pumping thousands of horribly made books then wondering why they havent made any sales.
I was shocked, so i have to go to youtube to answer my questions. Haven't uploaded there for years tho :) but this is better
Thank you for sharing updates. Appreciate very much. Does uploading many books has an impact on anything? I have little knowledge on these things. Is it because the quality of books may improve by that?
It basically clogs up Amazon and makes it harder for other people to get found. Hope that makes sense.

I really love it, gove me more time to work better and i noticed my books got published faster
This move by Amazon was necessary, since people were uploading thousands of crappy AI covers and interiors without researching them, editing them, and checking the material.
I haven't uploaded any books to KDP this year, and just re-started my journey using this platform. I am in love with generating AI covers, however, because there are so few artists producing art featuring women who look like me. I create my own interiors, however, and without AI.
Heck, I even research how to create better, quality interiors for my journals. I have hundreds of journal covers (non-AI assisted) that I haven't uploaded because I didn't want to overload the system. I also was scared of how customers would react. I only have about a dozen books on KDP.

I haven’t got that message and I posted 8 books yesterday and they all went thru. I took 2 months to finish them up and decided to publish them yesterday all together
Hmmm interesting. Ive heard a few peeps mention this but it sounds like it may be just now taking affect. Guess we will see.
@@YourChicGeek update: I just published 6 new books and all of them went thru. Just publishing 3 books at once will change my whole yearly workflow as I like to write the books, then get the illustrations, then I make all the interiors then I publish them at a particular time during the year. For example: right now I’m publishing Christmas themed books. Anyway, I will publish most of them the coming days so I don’t get stuck if they restrict me to publish only 3 books per day. But again, that’s a good way to stop spammers and low quality publishers

as you should be able to. its 24 hours in a day. its really none of amazon business. their job is to sell products and make a profit upfront.
This change will be good for those with many books ready for upload. But will set a realistic submission goal for new publishers, if not scare them away. All these changes right before Quarter 4(mmm). Did you do a video yet on the change about category assignment? I believe that one came out a couple of days ago.

So who are the spammers. Does Kdp have spammers why are you happy about that.
@@okechukwumark4312 yes KDP has plenty of spammers. These are people that flood the platform with hundreds of terrible books.

I think this is good because a lot of people spam and just put up whatever, this should also make sure books publish faster.

Thanks! Most don't realize this doesn't really impact or decrease poor quality books because no one directly gets published live anyways. KDP has to approve/decline publishing of submitted books, and if a low quality book was allowed to be published by KDP, all this does is maybe slow a little bit of that down over time, but it can still be published if KDP approves it. You'll still have competition so don't assume your chances will automatically or significantly improve if you also don't publish a quality book and you're competing in a high density niche.

This is a great idea. Hopefully it will cut down on a lot of the "garbage" that is uploaded that just sits and sits taking up space and robbing good content of much needed views and sales.
As a new author of low content books, I think it's a good move. I have resisted the ai hype and generating 1 book took me a week! Thank you for your realness!

I hate spammers. But 3 books a day is nothing for high-quality low-content books. I have ADHD and like to first create lots of books (so I can focus on only one set of skills) and after I am happy (which can take weeks) I like to publish them all at the same time (because it's also just one set of skill I'd need to use at once). Also when they have issues with loading PDFs you can't simply create another book and have the draft deleted, if you published 2 already. This happened to me today, I haven't published anything for months and had only 3 books to publish and I can't, because they're website doesn't work as it should.
Hey there! Sorry to hear this. I know that this will definitely impact a lotta people but I do think its for the best. I also mentioned that if you need to publish more books you can by contacting KDP directly. Hope this helps..
I, too, have ADHD, so I have worked for myself my entire life and never been in one place for too long. That said, 3 books a day is more than enough for anyone and will aid your success. if publishing and maybe becoming an author is your thing, but not so much of it's all about the money and a numbers game. With all the CZcams videos telling people they can make $67,000 a month people are putting all kinds of journals on Amazon. I created a children’s book and two journals, I can’t find my journals because there are hundreds of thousands on there, this is a good thing that Amazon is cracking down on AI and blank books. Maybe my sales will increase. 😂

anything so that the little people cant make more than amazon. its really none of their business. i bet harry potter books dont have a limit if there was more chapters. i worked on 4 books on the weekend and publish in one day. amazon need to find something else to do. its none of their business. its not a good thing.
Hey there I get your point....however this is Amazon's platform so at the end of the day we are at their mercy on this. I think its a good thing as the platform has been flooded with terrible books. This will cause people to slow down and really take time to create better books (At least I think it will) -- but only time will tell.
