So….had this thing for months before I just got bored and decided to give it another try. I GOT IT TO WORK! The “trick” is YOU MUST USE THE LAN LINE. It was mentioned in this tutorial. It will boost the WiFi as long as it connected to the modem. Crazy as hell it doesn’t work as advertised but it does work. Never buying shit else from them however! It shouldn’t have been this difficult.
Easy enough guide not too bad keep in mind if you move the extender from the designated area you first installed youll have to restart and redo the process just fyi
The trick to setting up macard extender is simple. You have to plug in your extender to the router. Complete the setup as instructed and you should be good to go. It took me some time to figure out but now I have wifi in the back part of my house. Just remeber to plug it in to your router for setup

For everyone having trouble setting this up because the Wifi Extender won't show in settings try using the ethernet chord they provide to plug into a laptop or computer while in airplane mode. You can then navigate to the ip address they provide and set up the router from there. You have to connect to the extender by going into your network setting and choosing "ethernet" if you're on windows. The extender will probably be called something like "Network 2" like it was for me. Make sure you are in airplane mode though. That worked for me and I had to figure it out on my own even though I told the support guy that I was using a laptop. Bro just told me to turn it off and on and again and then that it doesn't work and that he could issue me a refund. 😑😑😑

Mine was working fine and then I was getting spotty signal strength so I reset it according to the manual and now I can't get on their website to set it up because I dont have wifi signal. It worked fine the last time I reset it and now im dealing with this bs!

I haven't been able to get it to work. Had to use my laptop since it never showed up on my Android phone until it was already set up. However, although it provides a strong signal, it won't provide Internet access. 100% sure I'm typing my network password correctly. I have tried to set it up several times and I always end up woth the same issue.
If your having issues with the ip click on the WiFi extender in settings then click WiFi info then copy and paste the router ip into safari or whatever ur using the ip in video doesn’t work
It wouldn't accept the router password. Error message that it was the wrong password. It wasn't. It's the correct password. Called support. They hung up on me. I'll be returning this non working crap for a refund.

Try every trick people said to try and still does not work. I am trying to extend my WIFI from TV room to my bedroom less than 10 feet away for an outside my bedroom wall wyze V3 pan camera to work. The extender is 4 ft away from the outside camera mounted and thru one wall with alum siding on the outside of my house
So this is really mysterious. On the first try I made it all the way to the cool radar screen. It scanned and game me a countdown. I'm thinking I'm on my way on the first try. Not so fast I guess. It said I wasn't connected. Many more failed attempts ensued. Tried again the next day (so I could ruin another perfectly good day). Get all the way to the countdown again and then at ten seconds a screen appears asking if I keep logging in because I'm having trouble. Now I have no idea if it actually connected. My guess is that the answer is that it didn't and I'll have to return this glitchy hunk of plastic.
The extender's "Wi-Fi Extender" network does not appear with Android phones. We were only able to get it to appear on my wife's iPad. After that, the setup went through as shown.
This video did not help because I had to shut off the internet connection. I decided to follow the manual instruction, which came with the extender, and it worked right away. Try following the manual and good luck.
Here's the deal with this poorly designed product. They don't tell you that setup won't work with an Android product or on Chrome. After 2 hours of frustration I say someone post that is only works if you set it up on an Ipad or Iphone. they are correct! After the DNS failed server crap It went straight to the setup page on my Ipad. Finally working after 3 hours a frustration.

bought this so i could play wired through xbox so my stream wouldn’t crash, my speeds go from 250mb down and 50+up WIRELESS to 20mb down and 2mb up WIRED, wouldn’t recommend.

The extender has the set up site configured inside it it doesn't need internet connection to reach the site, it's a normal setup for wifi extenders.

I had the same problem, turns out the first letter was capital and it shouldn’t be. You gotta make sure the password is the same

Browser does not work while on airplane mode. Having to enter an IP address is kind of old school technology.
