Sorry to come back to an earlier learning / comment from last year (was an active pigeon racer for 30 years until I had to quit because of international move due to work ) . Think watching the Eijerkamp videos will learn you a lot. They are gaining a lot of time with effective landing construction. Not a single bird is landing on top of their pigeon loft roof. They all land immediately on the computer connected landing spot.
