Let's face it we've all floored it and braked hard to get the wood out 😂
I've crashed into walls to get the logs snuggly fitted. But then I figured I could push them in with the Scorpion or a tractor with tipper.
@TimmyTheSnail Just need to train at it. Its really Easy to do
1.you can strap the logs in. May not be realism but it's better then them falling off ingame.
2. You can turn the seat in the cab like to reverse drive.
3. You should get the gearbox mod really simulates the gears in all the vehicles more and there is a hand break affect in it called auto hold.
4 drive control mod is also brilliant :)

Daggerwin You are correct! I used those 2 pieces of equipment in fs15 & could only use them with my Xbox 1 controller.
Daggerwin I think I've cracked it while still using the same wheel as you - twin sidewinder joy sticks. makes operating it almost identical to the real thing ;-)

I play the game on PS4 and I am getting very good with the scorpion king... my guess is that it's way easier on a gamepad for this kind of work.
This made me like forestry in Farming Simulator.

Daggerwin, i may have changed my mind. If you only play maps that we can't play, it actually adds to the video's. For the maps we have access to, for maps we like its kind of a spoiler, and for maps we don't like, well, they're just as bad as when we tried them.

I do it the old fashione way ( cut tree with chainsaw, get cut up logs, put in car, go in zone to sell logs= boom done)

You have the driver the wrong way around in the Buffalo. Check the menu for the right key!

If i'm wrong correct me but I'm pretty sure the buffalo is for hauling the logs to the truck/lorry and loading it into the trailer.

Dagger Joystick can swivel head open close claw etc
Yep I used two joysticks to control the Scorpionking in FS15. Skipped FS17, but definitely getting FS19. The Thrustmaster T.16000M or something like that is perfect for this, since it comes with exchangeable plates with which you can make the joystick left- or right-handed. Two of those sticks and boom, it's perfect. Also, it's quite realistic, those harvester machines are controlled using two joysticks in real life as well.
IIRC, I controlled the head with one joystick and the boom with the other. The setup does require quite a bit of space since you'll have two joysticks on either side of a steering wheel, and the keyboard and mouse need to fit somewhere as well. But it was so much fun cutting down trees with that setup!

push down on the back end of the logs with a claw and the fall into the cell Point easily
Why you cut trees straight on to the forwarder? First you have to cut a tree down and then collect it with forwarder.
You can rotate the head only with a small part of the tree

That's the perfect example for a very clunky mechanic. Guess they haven't changed is since fs15
