the thing is that hardcore is the most fresh genre of the last 2 years. I mean a sick number of bands have been popped since 2018 and people give them recognition. Knocked Loose and Code Orange are headlining now. Also they re bands like vein,jesus piece, kublai khan, varials,black tongue,drain that they gonna become huge too. This new wave of hardcore have a unique sound and doesnt have any common with the boring 00s hardcore soun. They play like the 90s,they add new elements, and they blend their sound with elecrtonic(code orange,harms way) Metalcore on the other hand have become so much layered and overpoduced, i mean i like the clear and heavy that new productions give but it seems that most metlacore have kinda the same patterns in their mix.Also there is no creativity atm most of the metalcore bands sounds like architects and parkway drive. This genre is stucked in 2014, even nu metal is more fresh atm check ocean grove! They re some great metalcore bands nowdays like counterparts,silent planet and bury tommorow though. I think you must check more hardcore bands, nice video btw.
