I’m no college student but my dad can’t afford anything that expensive so we have to buy cheap things only things that cost 10 20 dollars but I’m grateful that we can actually but things somethings I really want to help him out but I’m very young.

@@370.y For a university student, they can access most of the University softwares they need for free by using their student email. Universities generally buy license for their students.

2019 13'' MBP was 1.1k iirc. So 1.2k total.
@@370.y You're spewing out nothing but bullshit. First of all, MacBooks are laptops. Just like how Matebooks or Surface Books are laptops. Iirc that is the 2019 13'' which supports MacOS, Linux, and Windows (two of those can be updated for free, and one of the ones that can be is macOS). Windows does not update for free, excluding the patches.
Even if it is the 2022 version with only MacOS support, you can still get stuff for free if you know what I mean, the same with Windows. Otherwise most things you have to buy no matter what, Adobe products for instance. But as Thawfeeq said, universities do it a different way and MacBooks are well known for being great university laptops.
Next time spew out bullshit somewhere else, not on a happy channel like this one.

*For those who did not look closely* - he was giving away MacBook Pros. These are some of the most expensive laptops you can buy - and up to 3-5 times more expensive than a normal and functional (Windows) laptop. The best part is that the video at no point shows a closeup or emphasizes this, and THIS is why I love this channel. He does not do it for the views or the likes.
im a big fan of him but no, he does this for views and likes, that's why he uploads them in the first place. But the money he gains from his views just goes to helping even more people, so that is very very cool and he's still helping a lot of people so idc what his reasons are.

I noticed they are MacBook Pros, another major detail that you leave out, which is very noble of you because they are a huge upgrade over a basic MacBook so you weren’t giving away inexpensive computers, nor did you stress that, just a detail I happened to notice and one I’m sure the recipients “DEFINITELY” noticed..!! What a fantastic job you do giving away needed items like this. It must make the person's entire YEAR, because it so rarely happens.
I once had a gal come into our office and she was just chatting with someone else, and in tears she was saying that her 8 year old daughter (she had 3 little kids), had asked her that morning to go to the store and get some bread because she couldn't make a sandwich. This gals boyfriend was just put in jail and he was the sole supporter to her and her kids, so I asked if I could leave work for 40 minutes to take her to Walmart and go shopping.... I could NOT fathom an 8 year old asking for something as simple as bread!
I had to basically put things in the cart for her, and insist that she get the larger size boxes of cereal, etc., as she was just so afraid to offend me by choosing what her kids liked to eat, or asking for too much.
It just happened to be a week away from Valentines Day, so I also made her pick out valentines and candy to exchange with the students at school, for her two kids in school, because I knew that would be important to them. If she couldn't afford bread, milk and cereal, she sure wouldn't be buying something like that. I spent over $200 that day and she went home with at least 2 weeks of groceries, of which I made sure!
I ran into her a couple of years later and she introduced me to the boyfriend, who'd been in jail and told him that it was me that had taken her shopping. -- Guess who had the biggest blessing??

I mean not to diminish what Juan is doing, but these are just his expenses for his business. He's getting about 20m views a month, so he's probably making ~50k a month. Not to mention, these are tax-write offs because they're purchased technically for his business. Regardless, it's a win-win. Random people get free items, we get an entertaining video and in return Juan grows his business.

Although for Juan’s case he would easily be able to write off $10k-$20k a month in expenses for his videos. There is also no way this video is sponsored by Apple.
