No rule against it, but I think he was trying to prevent them from clicking cards that they had hovered over in the last clue. He probably didn't need to because date and godly dad bod were both gone, but I guess a zero does narrow it down a bit more. Plus, sometimes people think infinity means that all of the remaining words link to this clue, so they might have tried guessing 4 words related to delcatty instead of two beautiful and two delcatty.
I'm not certain what advantage putting "infinite" at the end would have in this scenario over just saying how many cluses are left. Because the number of guesses you get isn't determined by the clues the spymaster gives, it's just based on a time limit.

Remember, in this game you're not giving clues based on YOUR sense of logic. You're giving clues based on what you think your TEAMMATES' sense of logic is. So you need to hedge your bets based on your team, like Jeremy did
