A documentary feature about the monks of Mount St Bernard Abbey, a community of 25 men, half of them over 80 years old. The only Trappist monastery in England and the home of Tynt Meadow beer, an English Trappist Ale.

These men of God have always welcomed my family with love to their beautiful home. The abbey doors are open for prayer and worship as much as anybody could need. The patience shown toward me in the growth of my faith has been unending, with meetings, reading lists and email advice. I took part in my first confession last Sunday if my soul is ever saved; I will owe a great debt to these men. I pray the abbey remains as a warm light, in what can seem an increasingly dark world.

I visited the monastery today (16.05.2022) and I am so pleased I did. A very peaceful place in a beautiful part of England. The place has a wonderful shop where I was served by one of the monks featured in the film. Well worth a visit.
