- Minecraft in 2019. What world do we find ourselves in today? Well here we are none the less. Minecraft has become the survival game we all dreamed it would when we nostalgically loaded it up for the first time 10 years ago. All of that is unimportant anyway as today we are simply looking at how to break the game by duplicating items resulting in a fast an efficient way to get unlimited diamonds which is 100% not an exploit.... Well perhaps a little!
So today we ask the ultimate question of Minecraft! Is Minecraft A Perfectly balanced game with no exploits or is it only balanced if we exclude the rather broken unlimited diamond exploits and item duplication. Also why is it that BOOKS = UNLIMITED DIAMONDS!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. Exploit Guide -
1. install auto hotkey - www.autohotkey.com/
2. Download the custom working script made by / @dedkiller_mc

3. Start the script
4. Enter minecraft
5. Make a double chest, then put 2 single chests. In the double chest we will put a setup of all the books to dupe, in one single chest we will stack the remaining books we need to activate the dupe and in the last one we will store the items we want to dupe. But first, do NOT store any items at all.
6. After setting up the chests you will need 54 books, of which you will make the following:
*In each book you must put the random characters. Remember we activated the script, if you didnt, you can boot it after launching the game, the order does not matter at all, the script will still work.
*To automatically type the characters you must open the book, then put your mouse over the next page arrow and then hold down the keys "control + alt + shift" and then press down either f5 or f9, all at the same time. So you can either do ctrl+alt+shift+f5 or ctrl+alt+shift+f9, but remember that the f5 and f9 results are not the same, so you will need to press each combination for each type of book you want to make, which i will list below
*Make the following books
(no quotations needed)
-10 books called "1" (f5)
-10 books called "2" (f9)
-10 books called "3" (f5)
-10 books called "4" (f9)
-7 books called "5" (f5)
-7 books called "6" (f9)
7.After having all the 54 books named and signed and with the proper contents you must then proceed to put then in this pattern into the double chest. (double chests are 9 squares long and 6 squares tall) (The X represents an empty slot in the chest)

8.From this point, this is the max you want to keep inside of this chest, because whenever you fill in those X squares with the books called "6" the chunk wont save, so now, leaving those X slots empty, put the items you want to dupe in one of the single chests and stack all the books called "6" inside of another single chest. Then save and quit. When you enter the game, everything will be saved as it is, and you can still modify the chunk and changes will be saved, so now its time to act. Take the books that are called 6 and put them in the remaining slots. Then take out all the items you want to dupe. Then save and quit. When you enter again, it will all be back to normal, just like before, the chest will still have the items you just duped, and the books called 6 will be back in the single chest. So this means you can easily repeat this process as many times as you want, as long as you do as i said.

You can actually get two dragon eggs.
On PS4(since they updated it to bedrock) it's been really buggy in some aspects. I had died in my world so I quit application. I came back later and I was right where I died, but with full health and my experience, and all my items on me had duplicated.
On the older PS4 version(non bedrock), you could upload your world to PS+ cloud save data, then go into your world on creative and add a bunch of shit, and then bring your world's save back from the PS+ cloud, and your game would still have the world data of the creative world, but it will be in survival again, and you can earn trophies still. Got a few of the ridiculous trophies this way.
This is one of tutorials that you plan on following, realize you’ll never actually do it, but keep watching to see if it works

This bug is so old. Spigot/paper/Forge have had it fixed for around a year now and even Mojang fixed it just under a month ago.

There is a dupe with pistons yhat still works but might not on servers i am not sure but if you want the know how search it up it uses piston chest closing to dupe an item.

Tip for using this on multiplayer: logging in and out repeatedly can get suspicious if someone's watching the chat and/or logs (depending on server set-up). The more covert way to do it is to use the Nether. Set up your duplication, use a Nether portal, wait at least 10 seconds (maybe 15 just to be safe), and then head back to the Overworld. As long as no players are in the Overworld area keeping the chunk loaded, Minecraft will attempt to save the chunks after 10 seconds and unload them. So just make sure you're in an unpopulated area when doing this.

@@fatalisme3607 In theory, it doesn't matter. To be safe, though, I wouldn't put it in the chunk with the books. Honestly, you don't even necessarily need the Nether or logging out. Just run at least 32 chunks away and they'll save. It's difficult to go 32 chunks in less than 10 seconds, though, which is why I recommended the Nether, for speed.
If someone asks just say "I can't access my browser while playing" or something like that

Ok but... when?
It works the same way with an extra step. Multiplayer servers only saves with back ups and not by logging out so you have to change the "save and exit" action to something else. Set everything up as demonstrated with the items you want to dupe in the over loaded chunk, just not the number 6 books. Wait for a back up to save, that's the first "save and exit" demonstrated, and then remove the duping items and place the number 6 books into the chest with the others. Wait for the next back up to save, that's the second "save and exit" demonstrated with the over loaded chunk that wont get properly saved. The extra step is some how getting the server to be taken offline because the back up doesn't stop the world like save and exit does for single player resetting the overloaded chunk. If you own the server you can just stop it though I don't see why you wouldn't give yourself what ever you want with creative instead, but if you don't, you'll have to do a massive tnt bomb or something to cause the server to crash and resetting the over loaded chunk back to the first back up saved.
My point was he said he was doing it in multiplayer then never did. Also all that work isn't needed. You just need to be far away from anyone so the chunk unloads.

If you load in high up and look around to see your chunks loading radially, you are far enough away. If you see some shit off in the distance load first, you probably aren't.

A chest with the books, and a hopper sending it to another doublechest with a lot of books. a redstone signal to one of the hoppers to stop it from sending. Each time the chunk is reset, the books are returned to the top chest and sent to the double chest causing it to break the game when reloaded yet again. So each time you visit the area, that chunk will be reset with no work on your end. All you gotta do is, each time you want to add something to the duplication glitch. is remove a book, relog, and then it can be saved and reloaded.
Adding a signed book and quill to an already existing chest adds the book's content's plus about 140 bytes of data as NBT tags

Towards the end of the game, when you locate the end fortress, the library is fantastic to raid and steal 6-7 stacks of books from. Village bookshelves in certain houses are easier though.

OMG, my information theory knowledge is useful for Minecraft!!! You're essentially increasing the entropy of the blocks of data that are being compression. Compression works by finding a code book that minimizes the length (size of the compressed file) such that it can represent the data. With high entropy, there's not much redundancy, thus you have to have a larger code book.
Ah so that must be why the books had to be all spread out and alternated in the chest, to make the compression less efficient

years ago (when UI was absolutely bad) there was a glitch in which when you placed an item in a chest and the exact moment you quit the game the items were duped

You can force chunks to reload using one of the commands listed from f3
@@shabadabba that reloads them visually for the client, that does not force the server to save/load the chunks anew
@@ploimark95 in that case as long as no one else is keeping the chunk loaded you should still be able to leave and come back. I think it should work
So if you're alone on the server if you quit to title does it reload the chunk?
How to get everyone to stay away from your base.
Step 1: leaving ton of floating trees around it.
And that's all.
The "bonus" exploit was a bait and switch for the multiplayer dupe which cant be done without the server restarting.
This is the same duping exploit used on Ark where the upload terminal is the "safe chunk" and the rest of the world is the "over loaded chunk". Upload items in the terminal then crash the server. The original uploaded items remain in the terminal while the server rolls back to the last save before your items were uploaded so you still have them where ever they were stored at the last server save.

Many large servers have patched this themselves, meaning it'll save the chunk anyway.

Shulker boxes of these books place into 200+ double chest
The way I would patch it is to detect if the chunk is past the limit in memory and if it is.. fill the entire chunk with obsidian + copy a backup somewhere.
The person exploiting it suffocates in a wall, all is well.
I remember on PE several years ago, you could rename diamonds to duplication and get crap tons of diamonds. That was a good time.
3 shulker boxes of those books and you can permanently kick someone from a server.

Well since its fixed now, I recommend new duplication glitch. Works with lamas too but I like donkeys. Requires 2 players.
Get a donkey, tame him, put chest on his back. Get on him and store anything you want to duplicate in his chests. Then get off.
Get your friend to shift + right click the donkey, opening his inventory.
Get on the donkey while your friend has his inventory open and disconnect.
Your friend can now take all of the items and then close the inventory.
Log back in and the donkey will still have all of the items in his inventory, as well as your friend.
How this works is that the donkey. minecarts boats gets disconnected with your character and appear with it when you log in. In this case, you as a player are saved after disconnecting as the one on the donkey with all the stuff. Meanwhile your friend loots imaginary donkey thats not there anymore.
3 days later and he has a video of this up...

Oh most certainly. It's extremely obvious how much he spawned stuff in throughout. Another good example is how all the books say "Original" and not "Copy of Original"
Something to note: This is an extremely well known exploit and is basically the go-to exploit for duping in the latest versions of Minecraft. However, Spigot has patched this a long time ago. The only kind of servers this would work on are Vanilla and maybe Forge. An easy way to tell if a server is running Spigot is to type the command "/plugins" and if you get either a list of plugins or a permission warning then it is running Spigot and this will not work. If you get an unknown command message then it might be Vanilla or the server is hiding certain commands. (For those who do not know, Spigot is what most Minecraft servers run and how a server can have custom commands or "plugins". It is what replaced Bukkit after they had some legal issues.)
I read this way too late.
Almost every "vanilla optimized" server client patches it. Almost no servers actually run vanilla, because it is buggy, has shitty moderation tools, and wastes massive amounts of server rescources. Basically this only works in single player and on realms.
If the server has Spigot, just use twice the amount of books. Also no need for book 3 and up. Just copy 1 and 2 and just make the same pattern.

(If they haven't heard of it, you can manipulate the RNG to spawn specific mobs in specific locations every game tick, allowing you to make mob farms that spawn around 200 of a specific mob every second)

If Minecraft uses GZIP then the first #1 and #2 books are stored, and all copies are stored just as references with length, at most like 32 bits per copy, if what I'm thinking is right and MC really does use the deflate algorithm then it would be more efficient to make 4 really different books than filling that chest with that many copies of #1 and #2

It's been fixed on the server it originated on, 2b2t. It's now patched on multiple servers with plugins

Anyone noticed how amazing that spawn was? You've got a village, pillager outpost, and badlands/mesa or whatever biome right there by a plains with lots of trees and hills.
