@@lumina_ I mean, there are good cubes out there that work great for one-handed like the Gan Air SM but some really good cubes like the Gan 356 X are just horrible for OH in my opinion.

I think a Cube like the Valk or Valk Mini would be more suited for OH, and even the RS3M 2020 is a cube I use for OH, It's really really good for me, I average Sub 32 on OH so I'm not the best but the RS3M 2020 turns really well for OH because of it's fast, smooth turning and it's high stability.

Yes I agree anything over 20or30 seconds and this cubes problems are very hard to notice. My times right now are 36seconds to 40seconds. And this cube does just perfect. Well kinda perfect.
I had to glue the magnets in place so they can't switch the normal way. Mine kept changing on me all the time. So now I have to take apart the edge face turn magnets around then put edge pieces back on.

I'm pretty sure the edge magnets work by not having direct contact with the corner magnets making it feel weaker, Antoine cantin explained it on a video

those cubes have a lot of differences, mainly the feel, so comparing them would be a difficult task
A problem on the edm that can occur is that after putting lube, you want to change the magnet setting. PS it’ll make your hands dirty

I am deciding between this and the mgc elite. I tried the tengyun v2 and I kinda hate it, now I want to try a different customizable cube
J perm in the tangyun vid: the magnets in here are closer to the core than in the Gan X. I don’t know what difference that makes to the strength.
Also J perm: when force is applied to something that turns, the force is stronger on the outside than on the inside.

hey jperm, im getting a new cube and im looking to get a new cube for competitive use, im currently interested in the supernova mgc m and the valk 3 non magnetic (mgc because i tried it once and i loved the feel and sound it made). currently im more interested in the valk than than the mgc m and i was wondering if the Qiyi valk 3 is just as stable as your average budget magnetic 3x3, if issues like overshooting and bad corner cutting is not present in the non magnetic qiyi valk 3, i will get it. but i first wanna hear from you and your recommendations if i should get the supernova MGC, or the qiyi valk 3
I think the valk is better than the MGC! It's quite stable for being non magnetic

Great vid as always :) Its a real shame that moyu only made a stickered version for such a seemingly pointless reason.
I did have a little bit of a correction for the science behind the magnet strengths. Its not a matter of leverage, rather its a matter of magnetism. The sliding of the magnets on the edges either increases or decreases the displacement from the corner magnets. The greater the distance, the weaker the pull of the magnets. Thus making it possible to change magnet strength without actually having to change magnets.

SpeedCubeShop could do this and make cubes with invincible stickers maybe?
Take a black cube or white, WRM/MF3RS2M etc... and use the PVC coating, Put a clear coating over the cube, then put on some normal set of stickers (Whatever color scheme you wish), and finally put a final clear coating on top of that and then, *BAM!* A stickered cube but better. Someone at SpeedCubeShop should try it and maybe another new innovation would be better stickers.

1:00 „These do absolutely nothing” - am i that bad at assembling cubes or doesn’t he know what these are for ? I recently bought a Weilong WR M as a secondary cube and when i got it i took it apart and lubed the core and pieces with 10k. Coming from a GAN 356 X I have never adjusted screws on a cube. I thought tightening them all equal would be a nightmare but with these 2 pieces you can make the screws 100% equal even if you have no experience. Moyu has a video on it. But I’m quite certain JPerm knows this.
I know that's their purpose, but I tried it before and it just made it harder for me. I show the technique of pulling on the edges in my lube tutorial and that's the easiest way.
