Speed vs velocity | Tamil | Motion Part III | 9th standard Science | LL with Love

In this video, we have explained about the difference between speed and velocity.
This is part-3 of this chapter, motion.

Speed= distance/ time
velocity=displacement/time
Speed is a scalar quantity whereas velocity is the vector quantity.
the unit of speed and velocity is m/s
Speed don't have a specific direction. whereas velocity have a specific direction.

2:38 Speed = distance / time.
6:40 Distance= 1200m (because it's travelling twice, first from our home to our friends home, and second from our friends home to our home, so, 600+600=1200m)
So,
Speed =1200m/600s = 2m/s
