Some scenes of the Goku Black Arc had some wonderfully animated scenes. Such as the Goku/Trunks Vs Black/Zamasu fight, and the Vegito Vs Zamasu fight. But I will say, the animation of DB Super is at its absolute best in the TOP arc.
both scenes actually animated by the same guy the Legendary Naotoshi Shida. you may recognize him from the "I will not let you destroy my world" scene in Battle of Gods, Goku punching Frieza in ep 95. Goku getting mad in episode 130 after Jiren does the thing. He does most of the Gogeta Blue vs Broly Fight in DBS Broly. And much more in the entire franchise starting all the way back in the original dragon ball.

This fight is so underrated it was awesome! Especially when buu went mad [btw buu still was holding back or else bazel wouldnt even be alive by buu just glaring at him]
1:08 The animation quality was infamously bad in the early parts of the series (they actually redrew a few parts for the NA release, they were so bad), but got consistently better as it moved through its run. The tournament of power looked spectacular by the end.

What I never really understood was the designs for the Trio of Danger was mainly the red one, Basil, like, why is Basil th only one out of the 3 that doesn't wear pants? That always kind of bothered me.
Jack I hope you realize this but toriyama has weird way of naming characters, full breed saiyans are named after vegetables, ginyu force are named after dairy products, friezas henchmen are named after fruits, namekians are named after instruments so don't be suprised by him naming a character named basil
Gohan’s comment about his present power is a dub mistranslation. He is actually saying he wants to show how’s he gotten better since RoF. He’s not in Ultimate/Mystic form.
Have you reacted to the intro of this arc yet? It shows many new characters that you haven’t seen before. We don’t see them until all participating universes go to the null realm.
