Grew up raving in the south in Atlanta / Florida in the 90's and started DJing and writing my own music in 1994, man the breaks, trance, house scene back then was absolutely nuts, nobody down there knew what the F Jungle music was yet (Or Speed Garage for that matter, if you were one of the few hip to it back then..), such a great period for electronic music, these guys were killing it, Rabbit In The Moon was deep in the cut, The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Underworld, Leftfield, The Future Sound Of London, don't even get me started on how amazing 90's trip hop was, let alone when Talvin Singh released 'OK', or when Eat Static put out 'The Science of the Gods', Omar Santana and the H20H acid breaks sound (I'm not going to name every incredible producer / group from back then, those that were there, know what's up already), I consider myself blessed to have experienced all of this back then, so much has changed, it almost doesn't seem real anymore, life goes on... what a ride.

Great show, aside from people heat stoked becuse half way through the night the event stuff cut the AC and vent fans, Carl Cox looked like he was about to die. My Sister and a bunch of kids I still call family used do stage set up and run a promotions company we went to partys from CA to NYC and the local Florida DJs of this time were producing Drum and Bass Jungle , breakbeat house and trance music that was every bit as good as any were else in the world. Thank so many of you out there for so many wonderful nights

Anyways, so many great memories from the rave scene in FL from the late 90s till the early 2000s. Glad I got to be apart of it.

im 43 i got 3 kids but i miss it chilli pepper the theater club boca and lots of Miami clubs ,we went to a big club in miami with sum back room and the whole celling looked like it was melting and dripping down ,we called it the special K room
yea- the event was Cyberfest . was like 115^ in the little building spacemen played in. Was so many people smashed together - the paint peeled from the walls. This was the last rave in Melbourne - quickly banned them after this party.
