Okonomiyaki is really super delicious, and you can mainly find 3 different types of the dish depending on where you are going: Kansai Okonomiyaki (without noodles, in the Osaka/Kansai area) Hiroshima Okonomiyaki (with noodles, in the Hiroshima/West Japan area) Monjayaki (more liquid texture, in the Tokyo area) Hope you get to try all of them someday!
I went to Hiroshima once. I saw the Hiroshima Carp beat the Hanshin Tigers against all odds. I tasted the dried stingray on the mini grill and Kirin Beer. Next day I went to a random little snack shop from a old lady and I tasted Kurage. If I understood correctly its not common to eat the Kurage but some people do. I liked it very much and was very surprised with the hard cartilage texture. My favourite baseball team in Japan will forever be the Hiroshima Carp and I was just sad because Kuroda didn't played on the only game I saw live.
I always wonder if the customer numbers increase after being shown. There hasn't been one I wouldn't want to go to and love the live streams!! Thank you!!

Delicious brown sauce! Tangy, not too heavy like BBQ sauce. I don't care for the aonori flakes, but okonomiyaki sauce and kewpie mayo together is like salt and pepper.
