If you think that the price of five guys is "compatibly the same" to such an establishment you a) can't afford to eat at a place that charges more than $20 for a burger (and it's often worth it because they have custom blends of beef in house that they ground daily) and b) have a poor command of the English language. The burgers are always juicy and the fries are always crispy.
They serve a 101 cheeseburger that has one beef patty and one slice of cheese all the way up to a 404 burger. Which has 4 patties and 4 slices of cheese. Simply the best!

Meat isn't that pink unless it has a high fat content. I've tried all kinds of meat blends, but keep going back to plain ground Scotch fillet (rib eye) with a decent amount of marbling. Quality of beef is the number 1 factor that determines if a burger is good or not. Buy it from a butcher rather than in bulk from the supermarket. Always grind it yourself, even if you only have a food processor

Okay... so... I felt the need to address this...
0:13 "Focusing on what's important": Okay, so they won some awards. Cool deal. It's true that having a smaller menu that puts focus on fewer things can do them with better quality, than a restaurant that has a menu of several pages.
That's a good reason for burgers and fries tasting good. The only problem is: Why do these burgers cost nearly $8 in my state? (No sales tax)
1:35 "15 different toppings": And here is the reason why the burgers are so expensive. You are paying for all 15 toppings, even though you'll probably only choose a few of them. You still paid for the (insert topping here) that you chose not to get. Feel ripped off now?
If for example, you ordered a Famous Star with cheese from Carls' Jr and ask for no onions and tomato on it, you would still pay the same price instead of getting it cheaper because you paid for the "option" to have those toppings... even though you don't want those options.
It's a crummy deal. Someone shouldn't have to pay for something they don't want.
