Just a heads up-- if you find broken glasses you can still donate them to the Lions Club. They can use the parts to build others. Then these are brought to countries where they are desperately needed. People have walked for days just to get a pair. It can really make a difference!

Jeorge, I am terrified of the darkness ever since at age five I went down into our basement to get an ice cream from our big chest freezer, just as I opened the lid the light went out (freezers then had no light). My older sister then got out of her hiding place and put her freezing cold hands on my neck! I am now 75 and still will not go into a basement aloneâŠ..

Brother and sisters can be so mean. I was in a camp bed and just falling asleep and my older brother was lying under it bed and then reached his arms over my body. I screamed and would not sleep until under my bed was checked.
I'm 26 and the stairs going down to the basement scares me đ€Łđ€Ł there's 13 chances on the way down I miss a step

Oh I completely understand! I'm not terrified basements or the dark. What I'm terrified of spiders. When I was a child, I was mildly afraid until my brother would sneak up behind me and drop a spider on its web onto my head and/or face. I would faint. When I regained consciousness he would be standing there laughing hysterically. It was terrifying to me.
Great video. Everyone should show these types of videos. Maybe it will help cut back on the illegal activity in neighborhoods.

My family was all police officers or they worked for the police department as I grew up. I started working as a courtroom clerk when I was 19 and one of the Sargents asked me to do some undercover buys for them. I would go into a mini mart and try to buy a 6-pack of beer and see if they checked for my ID as I was only 19. I looked like I was 14 so they had no excuse. If they asked for an ID, I would walk out, if they didnât, I would buy and they would be ticketed and fined. If they checked for my ID, I got to keep the money, if they didnât check, it went into evidence. It was interesting how many stores didnât ask me for my ID. Such a simple step.

That was the bowling alley in the basement of Magic City Shopping Center in Barberton. It used to be Magic City Lanes until this guy got it. It was a nice family friendly place before then. I worked at a store right next to that hallway that led to the stairway.

Ha! In 1970 we would put a dresser drawer in the back seat of our car (lived in student housing), put our baby in and drive 100 miles to visit the grandparents. No protection at all for him, no seatbelts and in an accident that wood drawer would also have knocked both my husband and I in the head. Thank goodness for all the current laws saving lives.

Some people care more about losing business than they do losing their license. I worked in a store once where I had to card. You are supposed to card everyone in a party for alcohol. A lady got upset because I carded her teenager who was with her when she was buying. She went to the bar across the street and badmouthed the store because I carded her kid. The store owner gave me a chewing out because I made bad publicity for the store.
