- CARAVAN & Motorhome Sunroof Disaster, we are seeing more and more caravan Sunroof problems needing replacement.
We show a caravan Sunroof removal and refit, we also have a used motorhome for sale that had a rooflight problem and had to be replaced.

My Sterling leaked badly, apparently they all do ! My dealer did a far superior job fitting a new one, pity Swift can't do it properly during the build. Great chanel, keep it up

Yep they get cracked with stone's kicked up from other vehicles in front or... when they pass on motorways... just the same as windscreens.... could do with some sort of deflector

from other forums elsewhere it seems to be if you leave the blind down in the hot sun this will cause cracks. Loads of them are cracking. Hope mine doesn't as I've just pissed the warranty up the wall by missing the 3rd year cut off date for servicing to keep it in warranty. Perhaps you could do a vid on warrantys - the third year warranty does not have a month leeway - if you miss it you lose your warranty.

It is all fresh so need to eat within a week really. Very much like buying from the butchers and the quality is very good. 👍

Is this the front roof section? We have been staying away from them unfortunately, so haven't come across it. If it is what you mean I would think it needs reinforcing. Possibly via the roof light opening?
@@thecaravanplace apparently its a common fault sagging along roof joint strip ,where water can collect then overflow through the star gazer window ,
A training course with swift on how to them correctly bahahaha 😂😂. Swift can’t get it right themselves .

I wouldn't say a big problem, but it does happen. I couldn't say an exact percentage wise but it's not big. Hope this helps 👍
