Best part about all 298 deaths is that you can see with each battle, he improved his reactions, counters, and the timing on his rolls and bloodhound steps. She made him into a much better player.
Most of the improvements are made in the earlier stage when the battles are a little fairer. From here on out (and a little earlier) the fights will be more of the same; die a bunch of times memorising the enemies move set before ‘getting it’ and then getting the win after a decent run.

The level of patience you need to have to die 297 times on a single boss and not quit is CRAZY! I died to her around 25 times and got her to around 25% hp on second phase a few times but after that I said screw it. Went and got mimic tear ash, upgraded to +10 and beat her on the 2 second try haha

About 30 mins in and I have to respect Mark for going at her with straight swords no shields and got her first phase a time or two already. She's canonically more agile than the player so to rely on swords only while rolling is very brave. Cuz on the other hand, she can literally float around your attacks. She's humanoid, but yet one of the most unfair bosses to the player cuz of hax like that
She also has hyperarmor on most of her attacks and can turn her stagger into a dashback/kick/counterattack, so yes. She's definitely unfair.
The thing with going no shields is you have to make up for it by doing a lot of damage.
I'm dual wielding katanas and I'm wreaking bosses but I got no defense so they can destroy me in like 4 hits
