hey guys ! i went a little north this adventure to prospect for some glacial gold and ended up finding a very unusual gold nugget check it out and let me know what you think !
I used to live in Missouri back in the 80s and early 90s and spent most of my time out in the woods, if I would have known there was gold there I would have hung around a little longer.
Wondering how far north you were. It almost reminds me of the Logan wildlife just the north of me. I have a creek that I am thinking of checking out on my property.
Cool find you got there. I was born and raised in Missouri, fished Lake of the Ozarks almost every weekend. Wish I would have known there was gold there.
PST , PLEASE PUT YOUR PAN AT THE BOTTOM EXIT OF YOUR SLUICE THEN SCREEN OUT WHAT CAME OUT OF THE SLUICE.. YOU WILL GET MORE MINUS -60 TO 80 PICKERS IN YOUR SLUICE PAN.. ENJOY
just behind you lol id say there was a small channel behind well to the side of your sluice at 39 mins in shows it clearly with the camera also should of tried next to the roots of that tree and behind the rock when you went down stream i feel you may of came up good at them points as iv no experience but im learning fast as im getting on it once iv built up my kit going to give it a go in the uk waters
Wouldn't it be wise to classify all of the material before panning it out? Seems to me like it would be a lot easier to pan if you didn't have the bigger rocks in the pan.
Hey bud, I live in KY and have a couple of questions for ya.....well, a statement then a couple questions lol. There is a creek my son and I go to collect geodes. There are HUNDREDS of them ranging in size from a golf ball up to a large beach ball. The minerals in this creek produce crystals inside of these geodes that are golden, brown, white, purple (rare), and a very pale pink. Here's the question(s) finally.....What are the chances of gold being present in this same area? Are geodes an indicator of anything else? I am COMPLETELY ignorant on this subject, so I was hoping you could shoot a little knowledge this way. Keep doing what you do man, great vids!
@@Outlawarchaeology Thanks man, I really appreciate the reply! The next time we go I'll let you know what we find 👍 Good luck on all your future hunts brother!
Kyle i don't go out to find gold Never though it would be here in Pennsylvania Maybe i should get out and see I watched a few of your videos yesterday and today Like what i see So maybe i can learn how to pan for gold Don't know if you will see this but i did subscribe to your channel Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
Kyle, how long would it take you to get an ounce of gold doing the method your doing? and how much does the equipment cost's i.e. pan, bucket with the grate, the suction tube? And the hand tools ? so if you done it for let say 5 to 7 hours hitting various spot's like you do how much gold you would get? I am curious because if I am going to invest a little bit of Money & Time would the rewards be worth it ?
I live in arkansas where there's even less than Missouri you get someone like Kyle and me and put them where there's gold hahaha we're cleaning up!!!! Thos is dedication my friends!!! Good job Kyle!!!
Hey Kyle, are you selling your hand dredges yet? Maybe I missed where you posted it last but I havent seen anything. Thanks! And are you need a rifle range in this video? :)
For new people. When cleaning leaves out of a hile, first use a stick. Nothing more enjoyable than having a snake bit. Here in southern Missouri, cold weather means nothing lol.
You seem so chill with all that gunshot going on. is there a gun range nearby or just some small weeins'd fellas up on the ridge. i hafta tell ya that would stress me right out. especially if lead started splashing around me. i'm high strung anyway.. how irritating they are.
Wouldn't it be bizarre if some big old 10 or 12 point buck came ker'splasing in the stream right behind you with a semi fatal wound . You know the kind where some greenhorn gets a sweet gut shot and runs from Missouri straight to Connecticut or Maine. I hate it when my bro-in-law calls me up to help him track one of them sons-a-bitches that ya have to take an Uber to catch up to it. Then figure some way to get it back home.
Wow, people have such misconceptions and unreasonable fear about a little gunfire. Missouri boys used to grow up with all the closets in the house full of Dads guns and we learned to respect them. We did'nt sneak around and play with them behind Dads back because they were not taboo. They were not perceived as mysterious and evil, just tools. We were given BB guns as children, then singe shot .22's as young teenagers, then shotguns and eventually rifles. Some ppl today would be shocked to find out that just a few years ago it was considered normal to have full gunracks with loaded guns displayed in their pick-up trucks back window. No one was road raging or shooting their neighbor and it did'nt cause a single school shooting. As a kid of maybe 12 I remember strolling thru town carrying a rifle over my shoulder. No one was scared or fearful of the gun, it was just what normal small town missouri boys did. Our dads taught us to hunt and fish and most would have NEVER disrespected him by mis-using or abusing those skills. Ppl today have been "socially engineered" and trained to fear in order that they may be controlled. Also, nice creek LOL.
I’d say there shooting at spots on trees , but if I had to shoot that much to sight a scope in I’d quit lol , I live in Kentucky same crap goes on day after day lol , even when I pan get a lot of lead buck shot out of the creeks ...
Ever have lead shot rain down on you from the guys shooting at fowl when they are in flight. It Is amazing how far number 4 shot will travel as it rains down out of the sky.
I heard a shot seven minuets in. Jeff Williams never has to rake his big rocks off the top because he slings them out of the pan with his Super Sluice technique and Yea, He gets wet. You need a sump ell on your hand dredge. You can get a lot more material with each pull. Must be squirrel season. Just shooting to make reload brass. I'll buy a hundred rounds of .223 from Walmart and go to the range and shoot it all up so I can reload them to my specs. 55gr. soft point at 2750 fps.
You may or may not know.. but do not let any sizable rock or organic debris like moss or leaves lay and settle in your sluice. It will disrupt the flow and could wash gold right out of your sluice!!
WOW! I would have booked it outa there! That was so frightening to hear all those shots! You should be wearing a vest. Is that legal in the US to be able to just randomly fire guns like that? Thats insane!
@@Outlawarchaeology I'm an hour south of KC. I stumbled on your videos by accident after literally walking down a tributary rock bed with my kids early today. I have always wanted to pan for gold but was told KS doesn't have any. Needless to say. I'll be reaching out via email.

Very nice Kyle! Back to basics. Did just fine and a picker to boot!

Gold in Missouri. Who would of thought? Congrats! Great video. You got a new subscriber! God bless
I think we found the reason for the lead. Bird season in Missouri

lead is in the tattoo ink

Catch many spoonbill below the dam??

What's your opinion on the best pump for the honda gx160 other than keene or proline?
I love that music drum beat, addedwhen you found that picker a tthe end. HA
Anything you find will be because you are persistent and hard working. I really do hope you find some gold here. You deserve it.
Thank you so much that means a lot !
Haha I love the micro scope view at the gold. Had me going. I thought you had a nugget.
I've found a few pickers in that same area recently. I learned everything from Kyle's youtube videos. Thnx My man
You're putting out some of the best content right now Kyle. Awesome video!
Thank you I appreciate that greatly!
Right off the bedrock. That place looks promising
Rifle season for deer starts next Saturday. May want to wear an orange shirt/vest and hat. People on public grounds are stupid...
@Ted jaramillo yea but public land hunters are a very special bunch overall
You worked damn hard for that. You deserve a massive nugget for your sheer hard work. Amazing. 👍
I want a nugget

Your so Blessed !
Thank you !
Yahweh Bless you and keep you safe.

Do you ever refine/melt down your flakes and nuggets or are they worth more to you kept in natural form?
i keep them in natrual form
And there worth a lot more in there natural state I have seen a 1.5oz nugget valued at $3000 melt it down it would have been $1800
It sounds like you are in a war zone! What is all the shooting and why so much lead in the creeks? Love your channel!a
Keep working it brother awesome vids always!!
sounds like a good place to wear an orange vest...
Love your videos!

Didn't see enough black sand. Steer clear of the fine brown sand. Dridge works great.
Sounds like you are prospecting on the scene of a Rambo movie 😀
Ha very cool video, highlight of my breaktime. But next time leave the "Glockoma" in the creek. Only a CZ P-10 will properly deter claim-jumpers lol

What part of Missouri are you in? I'm in south central Missouri. This looks like most creeks here.
So you where near a duck hunting lodge or there is a gun range near the spot.

My guess is there's a shooting range back there
Hey Kyle, are you selling your hand dredges yet? Maybe I missed where you posted it last but I havent seen anything. Thanks! And are you need a rifle range in this video? :)
I'm seriously thinking I need a hand dredge to ad to my supplies. Where do I find one
Aren't you glad that it's a great pastime? Take care Kyle.
Maybe there is a copper mine near by. I think they go hand in hand. Awesome thanks!!! Tibbs 👍 👍
That would be really cool !

What was the clear one?
Find the fissures opened by the quake that made the Mississippi run backwards. There's still gold to be found in those fissures.
As always awesome...keep the videos coming...when I get my claim come join me in Idaho
i love your videos bro.keep going
I love going to MO. God’s country for sure.

has a war just started
Wow! Weird! Yeah !
It's gold too. !

Nice bit of gold you have there.
Nice little pieces you got that day..And you didn't get skunked lol
Now I know why the Prospectors Association T-shirts are always some neon type of color. 😂😂🍺🍺
Thank you !
Nice vidio

Kyle wanted to ask what part of Missouri you from I drive thru Missouri a lot and if I'm close stop and say hello
Look at all that lead... Boom Boom lol
Have noticed that when you put material in your sluice that you drop some before the sluice.
not much gold so far but lots of gun fire, you're lucky though you have gold near-by , I'd have to go hundreds of miles, good hunting!!!!
There is more money to be made reclaiming lead than gold!
Good darn video...little gold is still good gold....Missouri gold sure is small...
I’d say there shooting at spots on trees , but if I had to shoot that much to sight a scope in I’d quit lol , I live in Kentucky same crap goes on day after day lol , even when I pan get a lot of lead buck shot out of the creeks ...
do you not get wet feeet lol ? could cause some trench foot if your not carefull bud
Nice haul!
where is this in Missouri
You missed the most obvious check the moss it’s one of the better places it’s where the term miners moss comes from, good luck and happy prospecting
Like 14, Kyle, abração, Brazil, depois se der manda um abraço para mim, eu colocarei no meu canal,
Do you think there would be gold in Canton ohio creeks I found a spot that actually has black sand

I will just look , and learn from you !
Sir ! Hats off to u !
It fun.
I was the 1000 person to like I just wanna go prospecting with you sometime?
Wishing I was there! Lol! I can still wish !
Wondering if some of that lead might be platinum ?

🤣 And yeah, he gets wet.🤣
That has to be a shooting range in the background. All the shots are from one location/distance.

how many ticks got you ?
I think you need to try the Rocky mountains of Colorado my friend .
Oh trust me I’ve been there check out my Colorado video.
Thats one tough deer.
I stay near the Rogue River, in Mi.
WOW! I would have booked it outa there! That was so frightening to hear all those shots! You should be wearing a vest. Is that legal in the US to be able to just randomly fire guns like that? Thats insane!
Hunting season
You can fire guns as much as you want as long as you are not inside of a city limit.
That guy out there, has A lot of ammo to be wasting. It hard to find to buy.
On the copper . Was that platinum .
Volcano! Lava?
Weird, so kweel !
Only got 15 minutes into the video before it stopped loading. Been looking at the loading circle for five minutes...
Looks like some rust colored gold in there. Prolly alot of other metals in that creek.
A ton of weird metals I’ll be doing another magnet video tomorrow so we all can take a closer look.
A "Missouri" Picker!!!
Do any of the fish or animals ever get lead poison from all the lead in the stream? Just wandering.
That's crazy, does it have a Name to it.
I have a piece of Mex. Ore with the same color.
But not, texture.
I want to try this really bad it sucks i live in mass. But im going to go western mass. they say thats the best place in mass. ?
are you up by Springfield ?
Please Tell me... was it real gold???
judging by all the shooting going on, maybe you should mine for lead... bang theres a penny.. bang theres another lol
Cool stuff Kyle! Your friend from KC
thanks steve!
