I used to live in Missouri back in the 80s and early 90s and spent most of my time out in the woods, if I would have known there was gold there I would have hung around a little longer.

Hey bud, I live in KY and have a couple of questions for ya.....well, a statement then a couple questions lol. There is a creek my son and I go to collect geodes. There are HUNDREDS of them ranging in size from a golf ball up to a large beach ball. The minerals in this creek produce crystals inside of these geodes that are golden, brown, white, purple (rare), and a very pale pink. Here's the question(s) finally.....What are the chances of gold being present in this same area? Are geodes an indicator of anything else? I am COMPLETELY ignorant on this subject, so I was hoping you could shoot a little knowledge this way. Keep doing what you do man, great vids!

Kyle, how long would it take you to get an ounce of gold doing the method your doing? and how much does the equipment cost's i.e. pan, bucket with the grate, the suction tube? And the hand tools ? so if you done it for let say 5 to 7 hours hitting various spot's like you do how much gold you would get? I am curious because if I am going to invest a little bit of Money & Time would the rewards be worth it ?

Wow, people have such misconceptions and unreasonable fear about a little gunfire. Missouri boys used to grow up with all the closets in the house full of Dads guns and we learned to respect them. We did'nt sneak around and play with them behind Dads back because they were not taboo. They were not perceived as mysterious and evil, just tools. We were given BB guns as children, then singe shot .22's as young teenagers, then shotguns and eventually rifles. Some ppl today would be shocked to find out that just a few years ago it was considered normal to have full gunracks with loaded guns displayed in their pick-up trucks back window. No one was road raging or shooting their neighbor and it did'nt cause a single school shooting. As a kid of maybe 12 I remember strolling thru town carrying a rifle over my shoulder. No one was scared or fearful of the gun, it was just what normal small town missouri boys did. Our dads taught us to hunt and fish and most would have NEVER disrespected him by mis-using or abusing those skills. Ppl today have been "socially engineered" and trained to fear in order that they may be controlled. Also, nice creek LOL.

I heard a shot seven minuets in. Jeff Williams never has to rake his big rocks off the top because he slings them out of the pan with his Super Sluice technique and Yea, He gets wet. You need a sump ell on your hand dredge. You can get a lot more material with each pull. Must be squirrel season. Just shooting to make reload brass. I'll buy a hundred rounds of .223 from Walmart and go to the range and shoot it all up so I can reload them to my specs. 55gr. soft point at 2750 fps.
