As I always mentioned, every time when I see you jump into water (at the nice island) and to eat every single bite of food (no waste of food), I just realized that life is actually so simple. OK, after watching you had lunch over at KAK EMA along Burmah Road, i had visited this place and had takeway lunch, had rice, veges, fried chicken and mixed curry, food was OK , it wasnt the best Malay Food, but price was reasonable.

I wish to have explored this kind of diamond's in the rough places on my travels.. but had travel gang who always prefer places with A/C only.. now we know how much we had missed those goodies.. 😢
I love deep fried spring too...especially when just out from the"wok" with the sweet and sour chillies sauce. Keep enjoying and take care.

I hope by keeping yourself busy exploring the local food, it will at least make you less missing your home in Ukraine .. take care and stay safe always my friend ❤🐈❤
So much Yummy food in Penang. You really loves it.once you go back, you will definately miss Malaysian food .cheap n delicious. Any thought of making Penang your second home.
It's kind of my second home lol. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Oh, my hometown padang tembak. The place that i grew up. Lots of delicious food there.
Hi Brother, thrilled to see you enjoying the gastronomic delights of Padang Tembak ( Rifle Range) & meetings its residents. The area is very historical dating back to the old British armed forces days, although it was a very run down & poor area the people are just so friendly & as a Mat Saleh you will be treated as a special guest, as i was many years ago!!!! God Bless, stay safe!!!
wonderful people, wonderful tourist experience and wonderful country
Rifle Range flat or we now call it flat Padang Tembak. I used to stay there in the early 1980s before my family's moved to Sungai Ara Camp. My father was in the Army back then. The Ministry Of Defense rented few floors from Penang State Goverment, to accommodate families of Armed Forces personnel until 1990s. I understand the feeling you have there...same goes to me. I am 41 years old now by the way...
Blessings and love❤ to the people who are involved in giving the food donation. May they're always be full of joy and in good health🙏
Its so Nice to see you enyoing the local food keep making yummie video,s u like it 👍🙏
These low cost flats were built by the state government in 70s, mainly for the low income families. Some people like the lady in red dress would do charity by distributing free food or goodies for the poor living in this area. You are very lucky to witness this act of kindness from the ordinary people there.
Wow..syok tengok u makan! U are a great eater. Enjoy staying in Msia & stay safe..take care
The 'recycling' lady sneaking up behind you while you had your noodles, that was a gem...
I think that was a grandpa behind me. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Thank you for watching and commenting! Stay positive and be happy :) Whatever you're going through it's only temporary and the pain will not last forever. You will have much brighter, beautiful days ahead of your. Always remember there are people out there who have had much, much worse experiences in their life then us and even they had overcome, whatever they were going through. Enjoy your weekend.
Nice one Artem. Kind people are awesome. Speaking of Ukraine, hope your grandparents are well. Stay strong/safe.
Thank you for watching and commenting! Always in contact with all 4 of my grandparents, all good. Enjoy your weekend.
The spring roll is normally filled with a local turnip (sengkuang) & carrots as cabbage would turn the crispy skin soggy. Enjoy your stay in Pearl of the Orient
I used to stay there when I was a teenager, those days for a single bedroom flat is only about RM35 a month...it seems from what I heard the rental there is about RM400 amonth for a 2 bedroom flat, food is still one of the cheapest in Penang
RM 35 unreal. Those were the days. Thank you for watching and commenting!
When eating that kind of noodles you should ask for that pickled chilies. It adds sourness and a little spiciness. Yummmm
Thank you for watching amd commenting! Yeah, pickled chilies go so well with the noodles. I try it before when I eat my $0.35 noodles lol.
Great job...enjoying watching your channel. I am wondering have you eaten the king of fruit....musang king durian??....the Best.
Thank you! Haha yes, had it for the first time in Thailand last year. Loved it.
The community is just 3 mins drive from my place, and has been my regular meal place all my life. There are many good food there and the nasi goreng ayam is one of my faves.
The flats are the oldest and the first high rise residential in Penang. Also the strongest building structure. You should go to the food court nearby in the morning.
Omg... So many dish.... But its OK.. U are in the island of food.
And for me what ever happen..bad or worst... . I will always love my state of Penang and my country Malaysia. I'm blessed to be born here.. Very blessed.. Wish u all the best time here..
You know the food is good when it brings back the old memory's
Like deja vu
Never knew a spring role from Malaysia could recover my memory from 1998, it's truly amazing! Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
padang tembak ( Rifle Range) flats were built in the 70's (50 years ago) and was one of the first public housing scheme in Penang, few years back it was refurbished and revitalized by the state govt. Food there is much cheaper than in town and it is as good. have a great time there man.
The flats & surroundings have definitely been spruced up .... not like the earlier days....👍

You are now my number 1 food blogger and traveller's in Malaysia!!
The residential flats you are walking through I believe is one of the many low cost flats.
Here's a tip on free food donation. Find out if the food is donated meant for all (usually this is done as a form of religious requirement or as a form of religious duty) or if it is meant for the less fortunate especially the homeless. It has been noted in KL that food donation was ban within a certain radius of the KL city centre a few years ago because foreign backpackers were taking advantage of the free food. The money for the free meal for the homeless/less fortunate are usually donated by the public and the organisers tend to have a limit amount for every session, so... those who can afford meals shouldn't reduce the opportunity for the actual recipients. Glad you asked before you queue with the others... or, best to wait until everyone has had theirs before you take the packed free meal if there is extra. As I mentioned, that is low cost flats area and some inhabitants aren't lucky.
