This has nothing to do with feeling good, it's what's right for the country. Furthermore, a lot of voters have a very distorted view or opinion led by biased media or outright lies. It Should be required that each candidate stand before voters make their statements and be accountable for them.

A candidate should be disqualified if they're unwilling to back up what they so boldly claim. simply making statements to an interviewer who's only interest is in promoting them does not qualify.
