I loved the verse for the day, just hearing you speak it out brought peace in. It is so important to keep pressing into God to keep His peace inside. Like yall said, bad things happen, there is rough places, but you can still be functioning out of a place of peace that come from trusting that God is good and He takes care of us.
In March of last year, my husband spent 5 days in the ICU and was told if something didn't happen he would die. I was in his room and they couldn't draw blood fast enough before it would clot. I freaked out inside really bad that I felt a physical shock to my heart. I called a friend, she prayed with me. I realized all I could do was trust and speak the Word of God. My Husband got out of ICU and 5 days later my Dad died.
That was a hard season. A really hard season, and I didn't always function through the peace of God, but I had family and friends that helped me and stood in the gap. My armor was cracked and pretty beat up, but I was surrounded and loved while God did the repairing.
Thankfully my Husband is doing great since leaving the hospital. No one knows how he can go from deaths door to being better then ever within 6 months. He has mystified his doctors again, but that is our God.
What the devil means to destroy us, God turns it for good.
Please keep sharing and being the example to others in what it means to walk in a relationship with Christ.
