How to Prune Standard Roses

Standard Roses are lovely especially in rows to create an architectural effect. Because they are a special shape you need to know how to prune them in winter to get that 'lollipop' look in summer.

The flowers on one of my standard roses is very leggy,though its blocked by a new extension next door might be why,I cut my standards right back in Winter, they always come back and flower,im in Northern England
