Web of Shadows is still best Spider-Man game. The 2018 Spider-Man is awesome. But the game suffers because of the rights, so you can't actually meet anyone from Marvel universe. Here, we got so many characters.
That doesn't mean the Insomniac Spider-Man 2018 game suffers from not including other heroes. It's a solo Spider-Man game. We're not suppose to be teaming up with other heroes. At least Insomniac included a bunch of references that revolves around the bigger Marvel universe.

All side-villains are unitilized, just thrown in just for fan service - and yes I am talking about all of them = Shocker, Scorpion, Rhino, Vulture and Electro. Game has its story around Kingpin and Negative man witch is good. Others are unitilized.
