Great Smoky Mountain Railroad 1702- First Runs of 2020 with New Whistle!

Here are some clips of the third steam Nantahala Gorge run of 2020. There is no first class cars in the consist; just crown and coach. Not much has changed on 1702 cosmetically but the GSMR shop crews have built their own whistle resembling a Southern Railway Step-Top 3 Chime like 4501 and Dollywood 70 wear. The first half is clips of the west bound run and the last half is a deadhead move back to Dillsboro.
